Colored vinyl from who knows when and the cover is almost made out of paper towels but it sounds great!

Just got this one, nice textured cover with a small CRC sticker one the back. I find it hard to believe this was pressed in 1976 with blue/silver Bogart labels.

Definitely. And I think the mix on this is better than the b-side version.

Until today the only LP I hadn't played was Entertainment because I have three copies of it already and didn't see the immediate need. The WHOLE OPENING to I Found That Essence Rare is missing! WTF? It's on the mp3 that Matador sent so I guess it's a... See full review

Sure, but the 2012 vinyl was mastered digitally. This is glorious analogue.

As enticing as having these four songs on a single EP is I can't imagine the full version of The Electrician would be here, sharing a side with Shutout on a 45 RPM 7".

smnmy Yes, it has those three tracks. They're listed on the label but not on the back cover.

Kind of annoying that they'd spend time and money reissuing this on vinyl when they know that everyone is dying for New Order: Substance. Oh well.

The tracklisting on the back is correct, it's the CD that has the sides reversed.

I bought one on the day of release in 1994 (along with Superunknown, same day). Unfortunately both were lost in a fire two months later (it's okay, a later roommate sold me his for $30 in 1999). I never noticed if it said 'for promotional use only' on... See full review

I got lucky, no bends or dings but yeah, the mailer is skimpy, especially for something they're so pumped about. Sound-wise it's amazing, the only other release I can compare it to is the white label DJ promo.

muzakking Stacking records was still going on in the 70s and early 80s. My family still had one in 1987, others as well. Plenty of auto-coupled double albums were coming out (do a search of 'soundtrack auto-coupled'). This might be one of the last,... See full review

preemptive I did end up getting them replaced. I asked to exchange it and they said that because it's colored vinyl it'd probably be a waste of time but they let me try. I'm super glad I did. They're much better, no crazy crackles (except for one... See full review

Just picked this up for $50 in the US. I don't have the original pressings of the albums to compare this to (someday), but this comp certainly leaves the current reissues in the dust. I feel like I'm hearing these songs for the first time. The only... See full review

Wow. I had the slipmat but used it once for a DJ gig the week I bought the album. It was stolen off my turntable while I was getting a beer. I was pissed then but I guess I should be thanking them. My vinyl is A-OK. Ski Bunny!

Goddamn, this sounds great. How does a mastering from 1987 sound better than an original? Sam Feldman rules!
Nirvana - Nevermind

On headphones: this sounds subdued compared to my US first pressing, particularly the drums, like they were trying to cut down any sibilance. It still sounds great, though. Certainly better than the one from the 20th Anniversary set.

I hesitated because it's a single LP but the packaging looked spot on so I bought it. Glad I did. Seeing Chris Bellman's initials in the dead wax was a relief. Sounds great.

Believe the hype. I'm primarily a mono guy but this is amazing, on par with the legendary German B-3 Magical Mystery Tour. Yes, instruments/vocals are hard panned but it hardly matters because it sounds so absolutely clear that it just works.

Great great great. Sound is fantastic, bass really thumps. Quiet, too. And the packaging is damn gorgeous. Says Made in Poland in the fine print but no sticker.

Has the title on the spine always been upside-down or just with this release?

Now that I have both this and the 2014 pressing I can say that the 2014 kicks this one's ass. This 2018 is a big wimp compared to the 2014. Unfortunately I have to keep both because the 2014 has the Sgt. Pepper's Reprise fade-in on A Day in the Life... See full review

When it first came out the LP, cassette and a limited amount of CDs all had the "n****" verse intact. Then the CDs lost it, then the vinyl. It seems to occasionally pop up on some releases, though.
