Discogs moderator since 8th February, 2007, self-confessed vinyl junkie, Ibiza veteran & ex-DJ, who's been buying records since 1977. Chances are that if you ever shopped at the likes of Record Man, Fives, Crazy Beat, Soul Man, Metro & Vinyl Rhythm, or venture out to the car boot sales of deepest South-East Essex, you'll know me or have seen me diggin' in the crates.
I'll give anything a listen but my real love is electronic music, house & trance in particular. I spent most of my youth listening to disco, punk, new wave, synth-pop & early industrial electronica. I'm a big Depeche Mode fan and have seen them on every UK tour since 1983. When I left school all my mates were into the jazz funk & soul weekender scene but it wasn't until I picked up on an unusual track from the Upfront 1 LP that I started to get a real buzz from dance music. That track was Steve "Silk" Hurley - Jack Your Body. I'd discovered Chicago house music & from that moment my musical tastes took on a whole new direction.
I've been trading as Lost Groove for over 20 years & contribute to Discogs daily. I'd love to get all of my stock on here, then perhaps my personal collection as well, so take a look and hopefully I have something you're looking for.
