They are the original US master tapes. You will find that record labels call a lot of different things the "original master tapes." Rhino isn't gonna cut from UK masters with Kevin Gray in California — they aren't gonna fly UK tapes to America, that...

Wrong on both accounts. Different cut on the 2020 than this. And any 70s artisan cut absolutely obliterates all of the Miles Showell cuts.

It's mono, Blue Note didn't record in stereo until 1957. This album was recorded from 1952-1954

I'm not complaining since the previous/recent reissue was basically the same thing (Miles Showell half speed remaster) but had the UK track listing and jacket.
