My copy looks and sounds great. Side B ends in a lock groove, so that distorted guitar sound is sustained untill you let the turntable spin.

They must have used the 2012 Music On Vinyl reissue's metalwork to press this. That release (https://www.discogs.com/release/4710650-Sly-And-The-Family-Stone-Stand) has no Matrix info, but the MOVLP 610 on this one is a dead giveaway.

I can echo what nelson_iii wote. The matrix numbers are very difficult to make out on the clear wax, but they appear to be identical to the 50th Anniversary one (https://www.discogs.com/release/15700613-Roberta-Flack-First-Take). Same stampers used.... See full review

I just bought a version that has this jacket, no mention of MoV anywhere, but based on the matrix in the dead wax they used the Music on Vinyl metalwork of this release https://www.discogs.com/release/3499764-The-Strokes-Is-This-It to press the album.

Fantastic pressing of a great album. Flat, quiet, dynamic. Unfortunately it's already sold out at the label. Hopefully there is going to be a second run.

Yep, I can second this. My copy sounds great. If it was, indeed, manufactured at GZ Vinyl, it is part of an uncharacteristically good quality batch. Let's hope this is a sign of their quality control improving...

My copy isn't nearly as bad as yours sounds from your description. It does have some cracks and pops, but I think a thorough wet-clean will get rid of those (the Pro-Ject carbon fiber brush did not do the trick). I hear no surface noise, only some... See full review

I have a test pressing of this. It came in a plain white poly-lined inner sleeve. Matrix is MB004 - A and MB004 - B. There's a barcode (0628250541069), the artist's name and the word "Coloured" on a sticker on the sleeve. Anyone know anything about it?
