Sorry to read this. I bought the white variant from amazon UK and mine is pretty perfect, and definitely no distortion on "Ring-a-Ding-Ding".

I don't know how many copies of this signed edition are out there but amazon.co.uk still has copies for €25 or thereabouts.

I did exactly what Mayfield_1 suggested, only I didn't know he'd suggested it :0
Anyway, here's my very brief review: the green vinyl looks gorgeous but it's a bit noisy. I guess this would benefit from being available as a CD, because it's demos, so... See full review

It'll be interesting to see if anyone can decipher the writing scrawled on the deadwax (too tiny for my eyes).
That aside, it's a beauty. The packaging is nothing to write home about, but the pressing is dead silent and the music shines through.
Apart... See full review

Same here: Side 1 is terrible, a crying shame and a disgrace. I guess the only option is to look for a different pressing.

As others have said, this performance is truly a piece of art.
I bought the double CD on release day but now that I have a turntable, it made sense (for me) to track down a copy of this on vinyl. Prices here aren't bad, but now you can buy it from... See full review

Excellent pressing, although I don't have any other to compare it to.
From the German importer's notes on this:
"The remastering for Pure Pleasure was done by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios."

I added a note about this on this entry page but not... See full review

Awesome, thank you Rhino!
This is a mono cut by Ian Sefchick, and boy does Otis scream, beg and shout in this presentation!
Polyline is a nice touch, GZ has done this monster album justice.

benheartspam: so sorry, I didn't realise you had replied to my "review".
No, I didn't. I have Sasha's EPs too and they all suffer from some degree of noise, so I wrote it off as the norm for her vinyl records.
Thanks for your kind suggestion though!

I own copy number 40 of 500. I bought it from Mark's bandcamp page and it took months to arrive from the US, but customer service was really great.

I bought this a while back because I found it quite cheap, still in shrink, in a shop. I am playing it now because hjmaki1013 brought my attention to it - "will my copy also skip?" :o
No, my copy is perfect: no skips, no pops, no ticks.

Cut by maestro Tim Young, this is the one to get.
The music is ace and the pressing lets it breathe. One for the evening.

Much like this other title:

this is cut by Ryan K. Smith and pressed at RTI.
Another winner, although from a purely musical perspective personally I prefer Still Crazy.

Wonderful pressing of a truly magnificent album.
If you have this, the MoFi SACD is redundant.
Quiet, flat and centered, cut by Ryan K. Smith and pressed at RTI. What else is there to say?

Daniel Krieger + Pallas = a quality pressing, and this is no exception.

This pressing is really very well done - flat, centered and quiet, the "opaque sky blue" (teal?) is cool to look at, the setting is intimate and this pressing really takes you up close with Lights, her piano, her acoustic guitar.

Ordered the black vinyl version on amazon Italy, got this olive green instead. Flat and quite quiet - although this is recorded in different places, most of them in the open, so there's that.
Lights' acoustic versions of her albums are a thing of beauty.

"Helpless" plays just fine here, and so does the rest of this gorgeous looking and gorgeous sounding record.
Now, if only I was able to fit the nice, black poly-lined sleeve that this came with back into the gatefold... :-/

Absolutely beautiful. Classy presentation - the pictures on this page don't do justice to the glossy, heavy gatefold sleeve.
As for the music, well, it's Sister Aretha (and Brother Ray) very tastefully remastered by Kevin Grey.
