Sadly he only managed 4 furlongs before he was hauled off to chokey for more tax evasion!

So nice to finally get this beauty pressed up onto vinyl, shame I had to hold a seance to resurrect Lester Piggott so he could saddle-up and ride the tone arm in this steeple chase of a brutally warped pressing.

Way ahead of it's time. I found this in the £1 section at the Music & Video Exchange in Camden around 1996. It was mint and still is. One of my favourites that I still play on a regular basis.

Yep, I'm with you on the SoS Band's version of, "Just Be Good To Me". Far superior vocals and production on their song, it also has an easily sampled Acapella version.

I'd imagine the vocals for, "MidAcid Touch" have just been lifted/sampled from the original Acapella version of, "Midas Touch" by Midnight Star.

White labels, no track listings, no sound clips..... Take a leap of faith, all hitters no shitters. I recognise a lot of the samples, just gotta place 'em! They all put a smile on my face and took me back to my favourite place =)

I got this from Virgin Records, TCR, London on release. It was in a plain light brown cardboard sleeve for £6.99. I opened it up and thought "Mmm, a UR double pack for £6.99 is worth a punt" and the rest is history. There are translucent dark brown... See full review

There are translucent dark brown copies of this beautiful body of work. They look like plain old black vinyl copies but if you hold them up to the light and you're lucky, like me, you'll be able to see the light shining through.

I've been waiting for "Acid Machine" to get a proper release for what seems like forever and finally it's gonna happen! A small section was on the end of "Live In Manchester" Pt.1 and It was never long enough. I used to sample it, loop it and extend... See full review

Even after a clean with the Disco-Antistat machine, my pressing still sounds like a bowl of Rice Krispies, all snap, crackle and pop. It's especially noticeable in the quiet parts. It is present all the way through, although the louder parts mask it.... See full review

Got mine from Bleep today and it's clear blue. Variations in colour sometimes occur in the first presses due to residue of whatever colour was last used in the press at the plant.

Also give Louis Haiman a listen. As mentioned below, Tony Drake, who incidentally only released 1 LP, "Texture". Sam McQueen too, as well as John Beltran and his alias, "Placid Angles". There, that should keep you going for a bit =)

My originals are in great shape, they don't need replacing, I looked after them, but I'm glad you're happy and to be honest it's a great box set, I'm just pissed off with the majors rinsing people of their hard earned at every opportunity =)
