Spoken words on all the tracks in a theatrical way, Sorry , no singing here. Ok, in small doses. For you M.Ure/Ultravox fans I would absolutely buy it (for a low price ) if you alteady got «everything « by Ure/Uvox. Lovely synths from a great year .

A mediocre album , but If you like new wave guitars combined with synths . There are some cool tracks here : the illusion, the pro and the opener hot summer nights .and btw, her voice is perfectly ok. I got my used vinyl copy for well under 3 euro.

Track on B 2 is spelled Cifalota on my copy. The cover is also different . Five guys with red shirts and black vests on the front cover .

Only rated 3.6 ? Now that’s unfair!!!probably the verdict by disappointed prog fans? This is a strong r&r lp, in my opinion. I don’t know anything about the artist, but this a strong lp. Four stars!

Three Good instrumentals on this album ( they know how to do them) . Don’t hesitate to pick this up, If it’s cheap that is. 3.8 is my verdict.

Take this record for What it is, and don’t compare it to their earlier recordings. Funk and blues plus r&r. Free Your mind and Your ass Will follow . I like it. 3.8.

Don’ t let the cover fool you. This is a solid FOUR star funk album! What a voice! Is she black? Of course not. Superb production . You’ll probably find it in a second hand/thrift store. If so. buy it!

50’s nostalgia labeled as glam, because it was released in 1974. More r&r than Rubettes & showawaddy..etc., which is more smoother.

I find side one somewhat dull and grey, side two is really something else. Thumbs up!4.3 rating is way too high. I would give it 3.8.

You’ll find this track on the brilliant double cd (1998) «dynamite, the best of glam rock». This semi-glam instr. Is not bad at all . Listen to the drums.

Seems like the producers had an overdose listening to Break Machines Street dance . Those «bird» sounds all through the record ruins it totally.
