This could be easily mixed into dolby atmos and would sound amazing. I wonder why it hasn't

No problems with this bio vinyl. Some tracks dynamics sound different than others, but I believe that was Robert's intention. So if you want to get hyper anal about it, by all means do so.

Then you are obviously not much of a fan of New Order. Barny was/is the mastermind of the band and was the one experimenting with computers and keyboards to get the killer dance music we hear today.

I got this 35 years ago from a house I was renting. The owner was a well known radio dj and had a collection of records that was mind blowing. His residuals were in the basement and up for grabs. All types of stickers on this one

My German release is really detailed and dynamic. I might have noticed slight sibilance at the end

What? This is, and has been a classic for decades now. The quality of this US vinyl release is incredible. The detail, dynamics and clarity are out of this world. There is something about direct metal mastering that brings out a crisper sound which... See full review

Shortly after buying this in high school and taping it to cassette, I blew a pair of jensen 6x9's. I don't remember what song it was, but it was one of them

You missed out back in the day! That's when it was all happening and to see them live in the early 80's, especially here in the states - just utterly incredible. I have a 97' japanese 20 bit K2 super coding cd. It's a bit bright from the mastering,... See full review

There is a noticeable mixing difference in some of the tracks on this German release. The most obvious is Dream On. No guitar starting the track off.
Depeche Mode

It took years for them to clean up the lp catagory. I couldn't believe they were listing each live lp individually for one tour. It was ridiculous and they knew it, but let it linger for years

The little mountain town of Breckenridge Co back in 95 had an incredibly progressive radio station. Playing everything from Adam Ant to the Wolfgang Press. I heard several tracks off this lp during that year. I was then lucky to see them live in 95 at... See full review

Sounds good to me through large speakers and 2 subs. Haven't cracked open the lp yet to make any kind of determination on sound quality. It really comes down to each person's ears, not some program, or app

Rotel amp with 7.1 Focal speaker set up. It's just a couple of tracks - caution to the wind, no one knows were dancing and I think forever if I'm remembering correctly. The rest of the tracks center wise were as stated, just ok. Will give it another listen See full review

zevulon You are correct. I have never contacted universal for a return. Luckily all vinyl and blu ray audio has been spot on for me here in the states. Also, I did get the correct cd's on this set. This is an apparent f-up on universal, so I can't... See full review

I found the atmos mix to be just ok. The center channel seems almost non-existant on some tracks. I had to put my ear right up to the center to hear anything. I was anticipating Tracey's voice to be much more prominent. Need to give it a few more... See full review

I agree with the ticket prices. I would love to see them this time around, but not with criminal pricing. Just got tickets for the Cure - front section for $105ea. Plus, Robert plays for 3 hours
Kraftwerk - Computer·World

I just picked up a copy a few months ago. Really dynamic and clean. My only issue is with With A Little Luck. It sounds a bit muffled/compressed, but I think it's just the way it was mastered. Low end is good. Paul's bass comes through clearly.... See full review

The 5.1 mixes are clean and tame while the flat transfer stereo mix lets you kick the sh!t out of your speakers and rattle your subs till they want to rip apart. No download voucher is a bummer
New Order - Pumped Full Of Drugs

I've owned my vhs tape since 1987. I have just recently been made aware factually that they indeed were pumped full of drugs, but not the drugs I thought. They were pumped full of flu and cold medicine...lol
Sting - The Dream Of The Blue Turtles

Sting's first 2 records can be found for very little and the quality playback from the translucent vinyl is above anything from that timeframe. I think I like NBTS a little better, though. You got Sting, Clapton and Knofler playing together on a couple tracks See full review

Mine is. I comment occasionally about translucent pressings. A&M is notorious for them - UB40, Simple Minds, Human League, The Police, etc.. If you have one from the 80's put it under a bright light and check

Um...that's usually the case with bluray audio/sacd/dvd audio in 5.1 releases. They get in there and remix, or re-edit the original. Take a look at the credit above for the 5.1 mix. Some releases (Tears fo Fears SFTBC & the new Pink Floyd Animals... See full review
