In short Tufkut is a BBoy Dj who produces 80's/90's BoomBap HipHop and plays out 60's/70's Funk for the folks.
Tufkut started Djing in '86 and after working with Mc2Fine for a couple of years linked with RobLife in '90 and released LTK001 in '91. After to-ing and fro-ing between labels TufKut, RobLife and STS set up the BeatsinProgress label in '97 and is ran by Tufkut until today.

Two absolute heaters on this lil' 45. Both OGs rare as hens teeth in good condition and also the originals are both in styrene so what's better than having both on a vinyl playout 45!

This has a Lovely version of 'Superstition' with a solid open drum break on it. Normally a Charity shop or Car boot fair special so not expensive at all. The version of '2001' is nice too. All together well worth checking out and picking up for cheap....

"Funky Hips" is the joint on here as a nice 7" track to play. The better known "Funky Soul" pts1+2 is a slightly different version with dampened down horns in part1 compared to the original 45. It's just a cheap way of grabbing a slice of classic...
