I mainly play 1992-93 hardcore, drum & bass and jungle. I've been into the scene since 1991 but only began collecting records seriously in 2000. Now I well regret not buying records from day one!

Don't forget about this one! Very similar again, in fact of the synth pads are identical just with a few different female ooohs and ahhhs layered over the top ;-) Probably impossible to say which came out first, but were likely all within weeks of...

Are they completely different tunes by a different artist? I take it the LV doesn't stand for Limited Vinyl like on the Speed/Cookie release then. Someone needs to upload some audio!

Too many releases blocked from sale on the discogs marketplace these days, seemingly with little or no explanation. I have one of these and a handful more which will probably be destined for the boot fair next summer at a quid each.

I only own vol 11 and vol 21 and the SQ is pretty decent on both from what I remember.
I've dropped a couple of the tunes in quite a few mixes over the years. I can't speak for every release on the label but I never had any problems with those two. |

This is some absolute ruffneck, badman shit right here. Proper rudebwoy bizness; these tunes would fit bang into any '93 hardcore/jungle set and you'd never know they'd been made over 20yrs later.

Would be interesting to see how the submitter came up with the tracklist - particularly Higher Octave - Raise The Bones. Appears to be no info for this track on discogs. Could always be the name of one of the untitled tracks from the Breakdown EP however?!

This has gotta be just about one of the darkest, nastiest hardcore/ jungle tracks produced in all of '93. The EP contains a mix of hardcore/jungle and some more stompy techno vibes all the while remaining dark and edgy throughout.

What a totally wicked EP! This mad release from the Danny Breakz really has something for everyone- mental scratching, uplifting strings, a touch of dark and ruff brakbeats. 1st heard these tunes on Pleasure FM in deepest darkest Kent way back in March '93.
