I have it as well. It's still out there for sale.
Alice In Chains - Dirt
posted a review of Alice In Chains - Dirt. about 1 year ago
There is a reason why it's on 4 sides. This isn't a cd. So putting 50 plus minutes onto 1 LP isn't a good thing. It doesn't matter how an album is conceived. The difference is the cd era vs LP. Many 90s rock albums should be on at least 3 sides to... See full review
Pearl Jam - Ten

So here's the first problem with every pressing of Ten, it's almost 54 minutes long. 23 minutes or less per side on vinyl is considered optimal. 25 minutes is pushing it. Every pressing is above that. The more music put onto one disc means the music... See full review

Overall this purple edition sounds good, but Woah the noise floor is loud! At first I thought it was the beginning to a song until I heard it on side B, C and D. Luckily there isn't too many parts on the album where it's noticeable, except at the... See full review

22 mins a side is considered max for a good dynamic record. 25 mins is considered good. Anything after that is not. Putting that music means any clicks or pops will play much louder due to having to play the record louder. That and the noise floor... See full review

The mpo release actually has mpo etched in it. It's pretty easy to tell if it's the mpo version if it says mpo

Wow the MPO pressing is amazing! As someone who owned the MOV release, this pressing blows it out of the water. The Mov release was bad enough that I sold it. It was compressed, lifeless and pressed so quiet to fit 50 plus minutes of music on one... See full review

This is coming a little late, but despite what the previous review says, Biggie Smalls hasn't been butchered. It has a slightly different intro and mix. The vocals are more pronounced. While some melody parts have been lowered and some mixed louder.... See full review

What a disappointment. Like everyone else here, my records were covered in white stuff. It looks like the inside of the record sleeves is transfering onto the vinyl. I suggest putting them in different sleeves. The records are also super scuffed. I... See full review

Wonderful pressing. Packaging is something to be desired, but it's a great sounding pressing and quiet.
The Strokes - Is This It

Kinda wrong there about the bass and highs. It has nothing to do with the recording. It's the pressing. I own 2 other pressings and a cd copy and they all sound the same, except this one. It's just a bad pressing.

Sounds better than good. I don't really consider this to be a bootleg. At least not like most since it's using the masters created in 2001 for what was supposed to be the official album. I'm not sure if it's the actual masters or hi res audio of the... See full review

I must've lucked out because my pressing was perfect. Flat, no crackle, lots of bass and very dynamic. Not one issue with this record.

Great album, but RMR can't press an album for the life of them or choose a good place to press them. Every RMR I have has significant pops. They never release a quiet pressing.

I can't believe the guy below disagrees with everyone else. They are dynamic and sound great. I have the cd's as well and they sound the same, except the cd is going to be a little louder, but that's a given. I wouldn't call the vinyl release quiet... See full review

This is an amazing pressing. Deep bass, lots of mids and highs. Truly one of the best sounding mixes I've heard on a newer vinyl release. Nothing was compromised here. In fact, it's the loudest album I own and it doesn't have any inner groove... See full review

Nope, it's not just you. The yellow Eu/UK and US/Can have it. They were probably pressed all together. Half went to Europe and the other half to the Americas.

It's in my yellow north american pressing as well. It's actually quite a deep bass hum because my speakers were wobbling quite alot.
Mogwai - As The Love Continues

Yes, that's it. Every record has a noise floor. Usually it's a low volume rumble. On this release however, it's super loud bassy hum to the point that the woofers in my speakers were going crazy.
I think it's on all pressings being they probably... See full review

Sounds fantastic, but the noise floor is quite loud. The music is probably some of the best Mogwai has ever produced. I am truly blown away by the album and this pressing. Overall it's very dynamic like all the other Mogwai 2 LP releases in the past.... See full review

I don't seem to be having the problems others have with this pressing. Mine is not brickwalled at all. Actually is far more dynamic than the cd and I don't have any noise in the runout. It's a great pressing for me.

Just bought this vinyl pressing after owning the cd since the day of release. I am happy to say it sounds amazing. Big soundstage, great dynamics and the pressing is dead quiet. I don't think I heard one pop whatsoever on all 4 sides. A far better... See full review

This is supposed to be a good pressing? The first minute of both sides has some nasty distortion. If you look at the first few grooves of both sides they look different from the rest of the record.

You're supposed to remove it. Not cut it. Better yet do what I did and put it going vertical so it's out of the way.

I own the red pressing and the ivory version. I bought the red first and it was perfect. I bought the ivory rough trade exclusive months later and it's snap pop and crackle central. So I was wrong in my review.

Do not buy RCA ‎– 07863 68045-1 pressing! Runouts do NOT contain either "Welcome To 1979" or "STERLING".
This pressing is why it pays to research before you buy. Despite being a 2014 pressing it's still readily available. I don't know how it even... See full review

The red is a fantastic pressing. Deep bass, warm mids and crystal clear highs. This has been said many times before, but I will say it again. Chromatics use vinyl crackle and pops in their songs. It's not the vinyl pressing itself. It's very noticable... See full review
