Scorpions - Lonesome Crow

It's a shame we didn't get any reissue on Brain with the original gatefold cover, but this orange label version sounds great! As it's often the case with Pfanz vinyl my copy tends to be a bit noisy in quiet parts, but otherwise this is awesome for the... See full review

Darth Vader is such a massive track, it should be on every version of this underrated album.

Only recently got this album on vinyl and I think it sounds much better than the MP3 version. More treble detail und better dynamics, also very low noise floor for coloured/translucent vinyl. The only thing I don't like is that at the end of Poincaré... See full review

I haven't listened to the more recent Remaster, but this Reissue is sounding excellent, perfectly quiet and with great dynamics. Packaging and label are a nice and authentic reproduction of the 1972 Bronze original. No need to shell out more money,... See full review

Very well-mixed and authentic live take on bi/MENTAL. Better than the album in my opinion.

Got this directly from Thrill Jockey and it's not very transparent, more opaque, definitely fitting the cover artwork. The sound is great and much better (quieter!) than my black reissue I got few years ago.

Great album, great sound. It's like Solar Gambling 2, not better or worse really. What's nice about the vinyl issue is that the art on the backside continues on the inside of the sleeve, nice!

Not bad sounding for white vinyl, although Resurrection sounds a bit raw. Nothing amazing, but a nice reissue.

Great vinyl issue, perfect sound! But like with Discipline you get bonus tracks after the original album, in this case the Sus-tayn-Z suite from the 40th Anniversary CD. I would have preferred two 45 RPM discs that just end with The Power To Believe... See full review

Nice little DVD release from The Mars Volta. Roulette Dares Live at the Electric Ballroom is a really nice recording including a short jam. It even plays in anamorphic widescreen and the sound quality is nice. Much better than the recordings on the... See full review

Nice reissue of Beirut's best album. Not as heavy as my original european copy but it sounds just as good if not a litte clearer and still very silent. I also quite like the new front cover artwork as it suits the music nicely. I never really liked... See full review

Only owned the CD 'Box Set' so I had to get this. Beautiful Vinyl, nice sounding and very quiet pressing. The artwork is great too but no gatefold, no inlay whatsoever. Only two black discs in black antistatic sleeves. This reissue seemes to be geared... See full review

Can't make out a locked groove at the end of Alpha. But there is the short outro at the end of Delta. Overall I'm very pleased with this pressing, it just doesn't blow me away compared to other high quality Radiohead vinyl (can't compare it to the... See full review

I was lucky enough to get this release at a local store for a good price and it sounds absolutely awesome! I have been (re-)discovering this album recently on vinyl and I like it much more than I did back in the day on CD. Recommended if you can find it.

The German Philips version is a fun pressing of this classic Genesis album. Very punchy, loud and pleasently distorted. Sounds like a Cassette through an equalizer on maximum settings for everything. You will have a great time listening to this.

I own this pressing and the first pressing of Mer De Noms and they are two of the nicest sounding records in my collection. They are the definition of DEAD quiet. Not a single pop or crackle. Warm sounding, too for American releases. Highly recommended.

You really can't go wrong with In Rainbows on vinyl. One of the easiest and best vinyl purchases you can make. Cheap, too. Just be sure to get a European press but that is a general advice for Radiohead vinyl.

Compared to the XL Reissues and the earlier Warner/EMI pressings from 2013 and 2008 this anniversary edition sounds better to me. Those are very punchy, some hiss on the heights, very heavy bass. This seems more pulled back and overall more balanced.... See full review
