he has not been breaking any boundaries since Windowlicker. Druqks was great, but there was nothing new about it. Analords were retro when they came out.

does anyone have a problem with the side B? I am on my second copy and the entire side is very noisy (both channels are affected, but mostly the left one).

You can purchase a vinyl copy on Bandcamp and you'll get a digital copy + bonus tracks.

Hyperprism is a never-aging techno banger! One of my favourite 4/4 techno tracks of all time for sure.

yeah, digital Recury sounds cleaner to my ears as well. And it does sound dirty on this repress and also on my original pressing copy. So I suppose this is how it was mastered for vinyl in the first place (the new represses have not been remastered,... See full review

I didn't read all this, just the first 2 sentences, because I never could understand people complaining about them moving away from ..Amber (really?). Amber was a mere product to please Warp. Period. They said it in one of the interviews. Had they... See full review

weird, but on his Bandcamp page I can see only CD repress and on Juno you can't yet order / preorder a vinyl copy (at least from Germany). Looks like the ltd vinyl sold out on bleep pretty much instantly. :(

Fantastic, clean pressing indeed, amazing music! I wish the first track was longer though, like on the original. Right now, this is probably my favourite FSOL record since Dead Cities.

Even though I've praised the pressing quality, my copy (it was sealed) had a lot of fat fingerprints all over the C and D sides, which I believe I managed to wash out. But I still have a minor distortion on the left channel at the beginning of the... See full review

I give it 5/5, simply because it's an awesome album, and the sound quality of the record is sublime. That said, my copy has some distortion on the D side, which I didn't notice at first.

wow, they actually sell returns and list them as "new"? I've just started buying from amazon a month ago, and so far I didn't have any problems, but some records actually came already open.

dunno, I never cared about those tracks, to me, most of them are mediocre at best. Perhaps the bonus to Exai was pretty good tho. Mcr Quarter was pretty good too, but it was totally out of place on Confield, I was wondering who even made a decision to... See full review

I personally think that it is their early work that is overrated. Especially Amber. Yes, I spin Incunabula and even Amber perhaps more often than say NTS Sessions or Confield, but it is not because Incunabula is better, it is because NTS Sessions and... See full review

the black vinyl. What was weird is that these copies were still in stock at hhv even though the 2018 repress was sold out by that time.

this is one of the worst sounding records I have, namely the side D that is terribly noisy (totally unlistenable). I've had 2 copies with the same problem, both from this particular repress.

2012 sounds perfect to me. Dunno what could or should one change there to make it better. That said, I am also wondering how does this one compare to the 2012 repress.

Those additional tracks, even some of them being pretty good (miklman, beetles), only ruin the album flow turning it into an incohesive mess. RDJ Album is a perfect 10-track album with a great closer. I only wish they'd cut it as 2x12 at 45 rpm.

It was a game changer for me personally, when I discovered it back in 2000. It had totally blown me away, what a lovely album! The ending of Borax and Manhasset are still giving me goosebumps.

yes, unfortunately, my copy is full of crackles and overall noisy as well. It was very badly packed too - the second record was probably pushed with force, it was partly outside of the sleeve, which was terribly wrinkled. As for ambient music on wax,... See full review

Great EP, but the pressing sounds rather flat. This is the only Autechre record I own that sounds considerably worse than its digital version.

Speaking of influences, I reckon Marhide goes way beyond just a few years back - it is rather a reference to the early works of Pan sonic. In particular, it sounds pretty similar to some of the tracks off their "A" album.

My copy has some distortion at the end of "14 31" and the second record (CD) is badly warped. :(
Sounds great otherwise. The album is a strong 5/5 of course.

The best Thomas Köner album right here. So deep, evocative, complex, and trippy! Twelve would be one of the best album endings I've heard. Highly recommended. 10 / 10.

This is one of the best sounding records in my collection. Before I got me a copy, I was not a big fan of the EP, because the digital version sounds somewhat flat IMO. The record, on the other hand, has so much more volume, sounds softer and so lush!

the rich man Rich hasn't done anything decent since Druqks tho, I'm not even talking about being innovative or anything like that (Autechre have always been light years ahead in this category).
