Weird. My copy looks cloudy on one side but record sounds great.

Time to reissue this. Easy money. Just do it RIGHT.

What a drag. I should have read through these reviews before purchasing a record I might never listen to again. That slipmat ruined a great album.

Hope it gets a 30th anniversary reissue, stupid slip mat, I still play my copy but the noise is so annoying!

I’ve purchased two of copies of this album and both had cloudy, ruined vinyl due to off-gassing from the slip-mat. Brutal but I love the tunes on this album.

Wow. I had the slipmat but used it once for a DJ gig the week I bought the album. It was stolen off my turntable while I was getting a beer. I was pissed then but I guess I should be thanking them. My vinyl is A-OK. Ski Bunny!

Mine too. I was listening to The Sonics track “Boss Hog” which inspired me to give this LP a spin for the first time in years. Sure enough the disc was covered in white opaque haze. A Wet vacuum and ultrasonic clean made not a jot of difference. It sounds like shit and after playing just one track the stylus was covered in gunk. And lo and behold the slip mat was in the sleeve. One for the bin along with the toxic slip. However I’ll frame the cover which is Uber cool.

What everyone else has said . . .there must be some sort of chemical on the slipmat that reacted to the record cleaning solution. I have owened two copies, and they were both ruined. A friend of mine had the same experience.

This album needs a reissue. . .all the Boss Hog records need it, for that matter.
