Generally speaking, I found all the Genesis B-sides I encounter to be great tracks (in my opinion). In fact, some of my favourite Genesis tracks are B-sides. It was customary to refer to an LP version as the long version. Whereas 7" singles sometimes had edited, short versions. Sometimes even longer, different mixes or versions were released and labelled as 'Extended version' especially on Disco 12" singles.referencing Keep It Dark (12", 45 RPM) CB 391/12
The so-called long version of "Abacab" almost seven minutes here, is identical with the LP version.

Midrange is too loud. Otherwise sounds great! Naminanu is a surprisingly good B-Side.
