    Hi All!
Surely today would be a good day to revitalise this group! Are you buying 'Shadow Of Fear' or are you boycotting it because it's 'only' Richard H. Kirk? What do you think of it, if you've heard it, or at least the tracks that have been previewed?

Can anyone sub the cassette version, as I'm not taking the shrink-wrap off mine! :-)

    Cheers

    Simon

I listened to the whole album, and I will definitely buy a physical version, it's only Kirk and it does indeed sound like a solo album by Kirk. using the name is most likely just a marketing trick, I don't care as long as I enjoy the music, and I really was positively surprised (well, once again. most of Kirk's output is enjoyable IMHO).

I pre-ordered mine (not via mute) and it didn't arrive yet (but not on cassette - I'm not really getting this revival).
Of course it's a Kirk solo work and it sounds like that but I won't boycott any of his works (Just because of him I started to get into buying digital only releases via iTunes which I boycotted before). That said, of course it would have been a complete thrill to see Mallinder involved in this one again.

After listening several times I think "Dasein" was more of a CV album than this one. But I won't complain - the years where we where flooded with releases to catch up are definitively over.
The two tracks from the Various - Berlin Atonal Vol.3 are also included so only 6 are new. All classic trademarks are involved so overall it's a bit of a safeplay - even the tracks are with one exception of decent length.

What do you think Simon ?
