Yes...very disappointed in Catraxx not supporting Discogs anymore, and I agree with everyone that we as collectors would pay for someone to development of a 3rd party product that would re-support the functionality of Catraxx with Discogs, I used to use the product "VLC" with Catraxx prior to it being replaced by the internal integration of Discogs into Catraxx. The product developed by Germot was excellent. Since Frederik have been non-supportive in this area or at least ignoring the cries of the loyal supporters of this program we have to assume he's totally abandoned his 20 year long project. He won't sell his product to a company that would continue it...so I guess a patchwork solution is a must. I just don't know of any programmers or a way we can Kickstart this process. I've sent a message out to Thomas Hapstrup at www.hamstrup.dk , he's been a long time supporter of Catraxx and has several great 3rd party programs for Catraxx, however again no response. Both Catraxx and Discogs have such a good symbiotic relationship, I'm amazed that no one on the Discogs management (and I've got to believe there has to be some that have used Catraxx) has offered a solution... but without the support of the maker (Frederik) of Catraxx it won't get off the ground. I really don't want to switch to Collectorz, it doesn't have the functionality that Catraxx offers and it's interface to say the least....SUCKS!...I'm patient but I'm constantly adding things to both Discogs and Catraxx and things are at a standstill at the moment.

I've been trying alternatives and I agree, most of the interfaces leave something to be desired
1) Collectorz seems the most mature however even their Discogs interface is spotty. They mirror Discogs entries and is missing quite a bit of them. It does do a good job of importing CATraxx data however.
2) OrangeCD seems to work well with the Discogs API, however will only import CATraxx V6 data? Interface is ok at best.
3) Music Collection (gsoft4u) interfaces well with the Discogs API, however leaves the most to be desired in terms of functionality and fields, etc.
None of the alternatives are all that good. One feature that CATraxx excelled in was the ability to do partial entries and let it use Discogs to update or fill in the rest.
Sad day for us with thousands of entries in our catalog....
