Hijack - Horns of Jericho - Reissue

Does anyone know if this is still happening? It had been slated for a December 1st release on 180g vinyl but recently any information seems to have disappeared from the 'Music On Vinyl' website.

the record has been scheduled for december 19th first, and now for january 9th again.
but yes, it is going to happen, should be back on the site again also.

Well, you will find it on a few other sites. Seems like it's still not out yet though.

I contacted Music On Vinyl and they say they 'probably wont release the Hijack Lp'

mh, that sounds quite different to what the distributors say then.

I know! my old cd of this album has a few scratches now! This could be a tricky release legally as it originally came out on Rhyme Syndicate who were dropped from Warners after the Ice T 'Copkiller' scandal. Hijack re-released it themselves a few years later so maybe they own the rights now. I see Kamanchi Sly has a new single out which is quite good so I will have to get that instead.

might be the better deal anyway. rumours say, hijack themselves won't get anything off this reissue (not really surprised about that though tbh).
i could imagine some possible tricky legal reasons there, too. we'll know soon i guess!

Yeah.. Seems like they tried to license it but ownership seems a bit of a mess.. Shame.. I have a nice copy on vinyl but probably would still have bought it

I see that Hijack are in the studio today mixing new material.. No Dj Supreme involvement but the recent Kamachi Sly 7" was decent so maybe good things in the pipeline..
