The Direct Textbook team reviews every entry and selects the winners:

How to apply

  • Fill in all of the information about yourself (the applicant). All information is required.
  • Complete an essay of 500 words or less that answers the question: "The Skill I'm Teaching Myself That No Class Offers".
  • Application deadline date: Oct 1st, 2026.
  • The winners will be notified by email on or before Oct 31st, 2026.
  • All winners' information must be provided by Nov 30th, 2026.
  • One entry per person.
  • Open to currently enrolled High School Seniors, College or Postgraduate students in the US.
