Hi everyone, I'm seeing a colorist for a specific kind of job. I've drawn Morgalla more than once like she's competing in bodybuilding, but I have yet to find a colorist to bring it to life. I hope to have her bikini be "Spangled" like the competitors on stage.

This was Morgalla's most successful year, although I wasn't completely satisfied with what happened. It started with my publisher saying that they weren't going to publish my third or fourth book, so I would have to self-publish which I started. By the time The Shadow of Hell was ready, I found out that the publisher was closing up shop and that I would have to self-publish the first two books...AGAIN. Though annoying, I looked on the bright side: My books are 100% mine again.

My instagram AND Twitter were hacked, so I had to start all over. Again, annoying.

Thanks to all these amazing businesses and I wish them all the success. 

But Morgalla has claimed more fans this year. I did well at a few cons and I'm looking forward to the events this year. Planned for April, Morgalla's final book, War of the Dark One, will debut.

Upon watching the new Supergirl trailer, I'm absolutely convinced that the people who made it, including James Gunn himself, have read my work. I was going this stuff 30 years ago.

I had to find out this news from a friend's social media post who is also published through BHC Press.

I thought BHC was a blessing for another writer friend of mine swore by them. I signed a contract with them in 2018 with the express understanding that they would publish all four of Morgalla's works, starting with The Savage Peak.

In 2020 my first book came out. We had disagreements over some things but everything was going well. One disagreement was the cover, I've never been in love with it.

My book wouldn't sell despite me doing all the work still on promotion. They did a press release, but that was it. They put it on sale with other books to promote it, but almost all of my promotion was done by me. That was the first red flag.

The pushed back Diary of a Lonely Demon's release but it still DID get released in early 2023. Again, press release and some sales, but all the promotions were done by me.

All podcasts I appeared on were booked by ME, not them. I received no help with social media but did get lectured that I should be on tiktok, something I loathed but did anyway.

Then came last June and them announcing to me that they would not publish my next two books. They claimed I violated the contract where I didn't. My books weren't selling, it's that simple. Well, you're supposed to be the "experts" at publishing and yet you don't even have someone with an education at social media working for you.

Now I find out that BHC Press is closing its doors for good and all of the rights are coming back to me. I'm not allowed to use the covers and internal files, even though I have a copyright that predates me knowing them. Don't know how they're actually going to enforce that.

I WAS going to have the Shadow of Hell come out in July. Since my first two books are not going to be available online after June 30th, this sets my plans back. So I have to re self-publish them again which shouldn't take too long. I just need new covers.

If anyone has any suggestions as to cover artists, I would be grateful.

Just some setbacks which I'm used to. Everything is going to be fine.
