A husband and wife buy an old mansion said to have been the residence of a mysterious man named Hoog who performed strange experiments before suddenly disappearing. At night the couple hear strange noises coming from the cellar. The husband discovers giant intelligent ants (who were once human) living in the walls who capture him and his wife. The mansion is ultimately destroyed and the husband is the sole survivor, but in the hospital he begins to turn into a giant ant.

Before he returns to America, a slave reveals his ability to travel to the future and hands him a newspaper from the next month. Oren kills the slave and reads the paper only to find out he will be hung for committing murder!
