Who We Are
The Chester County Sheriff's Office is a full-service law enforcement agency that serves the residents of Chester County, Pennsylvania. Led by Sheriff Kevin D. Dykes, our office consists of sworn deputies, civilian personnel, and specialized units working together to enhance public safety in Chester County. Established in 1676 with the appointment of the first Sheriff, our office honors a rich history while embracing modern practices to ensure public safety. We pride ourselves on integrity, professionalism, and community engagement, striving to build trust and foster a safe environment for all.
