Who We Are
Our worldview is rooted in the universality of human rights—a value that knows no borders. Our national interests are inseparable from the well-being of everyone in this world. Everyone deserves to live with dignity in a society where equality is paramount.
We strive to replace competition with collaboration. We are a multi-issue organization because we live multi-issue lives and because policy impacts on people and the planet are deeply interconnected. We organize locally, build statewide coalitions, partner nationally, and maintain transnational relationships and perspectives.
What We Do
To change our society, we must change policies. To change policies, we must change the politics. To change politics, we must change hearts and minds. We organize and build leadership across three core program areas—human rights, solidarity economy, and democracy—bridging local, state, and national campaigns to build durable power.
