Windy City Classics

What started as a fun side-project has become a rising revelation in the electronic scene. the founding trio, Lucio Morais (Database), Fatu (F82) and Thiago Gusman, are established names, having played some of the largest festivals in Brazil and the world (Rock in Rio and Lollapalooza, for example) with their past projects. The project’s name is a reference to the city of Chicago, which is the cradle of house music: where it all began. The idea is very ambitious: to bring an authorial touch by creating their own editions with abundant use of acapellas and themes. In recent history, they’ve been travelling throughout brazil and headlining the biggest parties and festivals like Grand Slam, Oscar Party, Meca, Café de la Musique (Jurerê / SC), Corona Sunsets (Trancoso), Baile do Zé, among others. The biggest differential of Windy City Classics concerts certainly is their production quality, both in studio work and their sensitivity while using the sampler: original mixes, remixes, edits and live mashups are part of the trios available toolkit.
