For over two decades, Nodus has been connected to dance floor culture from the inside , not only as a DJ, but as someone who grew up with House music and never really left it behind. After years of bigger commercial success under his original name, Serdar AYYILDIZ the Nodus project became a way to return to the more underground side of things. Less about trends, more about groove, rhythm, and the feeling a track creates at 4AM in a packed club. Coming from Türkiye has also shaped his sound in a different way. Being a producer in Istanbul allowed him to grow around many different cultures, instruments, and musical influences at the same time. You can hear touches of oriental, tribal, Afro, and Mediterranean textures inside his records, but always built for modern dance floors. Over the years, he has released music on labels including Toolroom Records and Make The Girls Dance Records. One of the standout moments was “Rakkas” with Kurd Maverick, a Turkish-inspired club track that traveled across dance floors worldwide. Other releases such as “Gitano”, “Famy Aya”, and “Dum Tak” continued to build his connection with the label and the global house scene. Alongside music, he is also the founder of Houseyounite, Soul Fabrik, and Istanbul DJ Academy, projects focused on events, artist development, and keeping club culture alive for the next generation.
