Marodin

Santos, São Paulo, native, Marodin, is a Brazilian artist living in Atlanta with a promise to spread his signature style of house music to the world. Lucas developed a love for dance music throughout his father’s 80s and 90s music and dance sessions at home. In high school, he played electric guitar with friends and joined the church band for 2 years. After relocating to Atlanta, he started DJing and eventually sharing decks with artists like Vintage Culture, Bhaskar, Benny Benassi, and Alok. Simultaneously, he works as a technology & innovation consultant in a tech company. Marodin was one of the winners of the remix competition on the “Soul Connection” track by Silver Panda, which had a release on Panda Lab Records. Getting inspiration from house to old-school hip-hop, and rock has been crucial in shaping his musical style, which mainly incorporates moving basslines.
