FÜÜLROD

FÜÜLROD layers up industrial techno with metal riffs, industrial sounds, and sci-fi elements to bring electrifying, pumped up energy to the dance floor. A corruption of ‘Fuel Rod,’ the fuel used in nuclear reactors, FÜÜLROD is by definition a dedication to experimentation and an homage to his past as an academic in nuclear science. Offering a transatlantic fusion of techno inspired elements, FÜÜLROD brings together sounds from across the globe. Growing up in the Detroit metal scene as a drummer, he became inoculated into the world of German techno as an adult before finally establishing a base in Barcelona. He first broke out with his Black Rider EP, followed by releases on Collapse Cult and Agony. His unique combination of breakneck speeds and left-of-center styles leaves an unforgettable impression.
