CHRIS STASSY
CHRIS STASSY is a producer, label boss and tastemaker who has spent the past decade building a world around his own approach to house music. What began in the underground has grown into a global project spanning music, events, a record label and a community, but the foundations remain firmly rooted in the clubs, sounds and culture which shaped him in the first place; from intimate dancefloors and renowned 10-hour extended sets to stages spanning Coachella to Alexandra Palace.
In August 2026, Chris entered a new phase under the name CHRIS STASSY. One letter separates the new name from the one that came before it, but little else changes. The music, mindset, energy and connection remain at the centre of the project - same mind, same music, same vibe. It is a continuation rather than a reset... a new name for an artist who has spent years building something far bigger than a name alone.
That world began taking shape through Up The Stuss, the label Chris founded in 2020 as a vinyl and digital home for his own music and the artists around him. What started as a platform for forward-thinking, timeless club music has grown into one of house music’s most recognisable independent imprints, with releases from names including S.A.M., Malin Genie, Locklead, Kolter, Burnski & Kepler, M-HIGH, Janeret and many more sitting alongside Chris’ own productions. The label is also home to Across Boundaries, Chris’ collaborative project with Locklead, where a mutual love of house music and experimentation meet in a space that allows both artists to explore beyond their individual projects. More than a label, Up The Stuss has become an extension of his deeper musical instincts - a place for records with character, personality and a reason to exist on the dancefloor.
Those same instincts define Chris behind the decks. His sets have taken him across the full spectrum of the club landscape, from underground institutions and extended sessions to festival stages at Awakenings, Timewarp, Sunwaves, Coachella and Pukkelpop, alongside landmark appearances at Warehouse Project, KOKO, Club Space and Alexandra Palace. Ibiza has become another central part of the story, with regular performances at Circoloco, Paradise, Solid Grooves and more taking in DC10, Pacha, Hï, UNVRS and Amnesia along the way.
The music itself has continued to evolve alongside him. Chris’ productions have developed a recognisable sound of their own, rooted in house but never confined by it, while collaborations, remixes and original releases have continued to find their way into sets and charts around the world. Remixes such as his #1 flip of Moby’s ‘Go’ and of Todd Terry’s ‘Bounce to the Beat’, plus a growing catalogue through Up The Stuss reflect an artist more interested in refining his own musical language than following a formula.
That philosophy reaches beyond the records and DJ sets. In 2025, Chris launched USS, his own event series, debuting with a sold-out show at London’s Roundhouse. Built around stripping away the excess and putting the music and the people in the room first, USS has since expanded through further editions including ADE and its Ibiza debut at Pacha. Alongside it sits N.A.M.E., Chris’ free party concept, forming spaces for the growing global community around his music and celebrating the people who have supported the journey along the way.
In 2026, that wider world expanded again with ‘Lost, Found & Forgotten…’, Chris’ debut album. Divided into three chapters, the record looks across different stages of his musical life, from formative influences to his present perspective and the possibilities ahead, while a series of carefully considered headline performances have taken the project beyond the traditional club environment, including shows at Paris’ Eiffel Tower, London’s Alexandra Palace and Brooklyn Army Terminal. His first AV show, ‘Linger’, has similarly opened another personal dimension of the project, with standout performances across leading festivals including Lowlands and Creamfields.
Now, as CHRIS STASSY, the project moves forward with the same foundations intact - new music, international performances, and the continued evolution of Up The Stuss, USS, and N.A.M.E. already pointing toward what comes next.
