Beeson

Beeson is a 24-year-old music producer born & raised in the South-West of England. Taking interest in all forms of music from an early age, Harry began playing the guitar just before his 10th birthday & had a particular penchant for band-based music - including groups like Guns & Roses, Metallica & Slipknot. However, over the next few years, guitar shifted from his focus & he took up playing the drums by age 12. Upon discovering electronic music toward the end of secondary school, he & some friends jointly purchased a small PA system & formed a ‘sound system of sorts. This undertaking grew from being an entry point to local parties to a form passion & theme in his life. An upload of Sigma’s ‘Paint It Black’ on UKF was a memorable point in his exposure to dance music, & once he was given Andy C’s ‘Nightlife 6’ on CD, the path to music production was laid out. He attended the University of South Wales to study Sound Engineering, with a keen interest in learning & developing his recording skills. His musical direction started to change as he began attending & performing at nights at Welsh Club & Buffalo, organised by Concrete Junglists, Aperture & Temple. He supported a wealth of established & well-respected artists including DJ Marky, The Upbeats & Etherwood. Things really went full circle when he supported the executioner himself, Andy C. The immersive DJ culture in which he embedded himself bred his passion for all things electronic, & he began dabbling in music production in 2016. His initial releases included remixes for good friend Palms High, while his debut release ‘Huntsman’ came out on Program in May 2021. This was followed by a feature on the ‘Tonics’ VA EP series on Soulvent Records with the sweet, hypnotic sounds of ‘Brown Sugar’. With a developing sound all his own, and the heady raves of Cardiff still fresh in his ears, Beeson’s name is beginning to catch quite the buzz. His momentum shows no signs of slowing, so keep your eyes and ears peeled!
