These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website audiospeedchanger.com and the Music Speed Changer Pro application and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Harald Meyer ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, or by purchasing a license, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Use of the Service
The Service lets you change the speed and pitch of audio and video files for personal practice and learning. You agree to use the Service only with content that you own or are otherwise legally permitted to use, and only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the content you process with the Service.
2. License
Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the paid version of the Service in accordance with these Terms. The license is for your personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit the Service except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
3. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics and logos, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or other intellectual property except for the limited license described above.
4. Payments and Billing
Our order process and payments are conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payment and handles billing. Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes. By completing a purchase you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions.
5. Refund Policy
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all purchases, so refunds are handled by Paddle and governed by Paddle's Refund Policy. The policy below is consistent with Paddle's and does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase, for any reason.
Subscriptions. You can cancel a subscription at any time to stop future renewals. The 14-day refund right applies to one-time purchases and to the first payment of a subscription.
Refunds are returned to your original payment method. Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse or other manipulative behaviour.
To request a refund, use the link on your Paddle purchase receipt, or contact us at contact@audiospeedchanger.com and we will arrange it with Paddle.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that it will meet your specific requirements.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.
8. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. Changes become effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. This does not deprive consumers of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
