Annual hydrant flushing in progress

March 29th 2026:  We will be starting our annual hydrant flushing program tonight.  For the next two weeks, we will be flushing during the overnight hours.
Then, starting on Monday April 13th, we will begin daytime flushing.  Flushing will typically be between the hours of 7AM and 3PM, Monday through Friday. We expect to finish by late June.

Flushing improves long-term water quality and allows us to make sure our fire hydrants are working properly.  But in the short term, customers may experience cloudy water, dirty water, or low pressure.  These problems should resolve on their own within a few hours.
