This summer marks the 35th anniversary of Marvel's groundbreaking Mutant Genesis event that brought the rebirth of the New Mutants as X-Force, the split of the X-Men into Blue and Gold teams with the launch of Jim Lee's new adjectiveless X-Men title, and seismic change to the plotlines across the other X-titles, including Excalibur, the Uncanny X-Men and X-Factor. Marvel undertook a full promotional blitz for Mutant Genesis that involved a number of great retail posters that were prominently hung in local comic books shops across the country.
