Tag Tournament Match 3 (Ref Ted Trevorte)
Spike Dudley & Steven Richards vs. Rob Van Dam & Shane Helms
Spike and Steven come to the ring accompanied by Ivory. Steven attempts a Steven Kick, but Helms ducks under him and hits a Sugarsmack for two. Helms attempts the Nightmare on Helms Street (now known simply as the Nightmare) but Spike clotheslines him, allowing Steven to make the tag. Spike hits his top rope double foot stomp, now known as the Nail in the Coffin, for two. Spike hits a Blockbuster, which he calls the Railroad Spike, for two. Spike tags in Steven, who gives Helms a spinebuster for two. Steven goes for a burning hammer, but RVD stops him. Helms is able to hit a chokeslam, allowing him to make the tag. RVD attempts a Five Star Frog Splash, but Spike shoves him off the rope. Spike attempts a Dudley Dog, but RVD shoves him over the top rope. RVD hits the Rolling Thunder, but Ivory places Steven's leg on the rope. RVD then hits Steven with a split-legged moonsault for the win.

James Stone and Trish Stratus arrive at the arena, walking arm in arm.

Shawn Michaels comes to the ring to address the fans. He tells everyone that General Manager Shane McMahon was forced to give Shawn his job back after Rey Mysterio's attack last week, or Shawn would have sued Shane for allowing one of his performers to attack a fan. Shawn says now that he's got his job back, he's ready to apologize to Rey for missing their match at Vengeance by beating the tar out of Rey. Before Shawn can continue, Rey comes out of the crowd and hits Shawn with a springboard dropkick. Shawn retreats out of the ring and back to the locker room while security holds Rey back.

Helms and RVD approach Spike, Steven, and Ivory in the back to congratulate them on a hard fought match. Steven takes this negatively, saying Helms and RVD were just lucky. Ivory tries to calm him down, but he gets pissed and storms off.

Commercial

Rey is in the locker room with Brian Kendrick, steaming that Shane has allowed Shawn to return to Cruise. Brian tries to calm Rey down, telling him he'll get his hands on Shawn in due time.

Match 2 (Ref Asia Reynolds)
Ivory vs. Victoria
Victoria hits Ivory with a Samoan drop she refers to as the Dejecter for two. Ivory hits a spear for two. Ivory attempts a DDT, but Victoria shoves her back into the turnbuckle. Victoria then hits the PsychOut for the win.

Winner: Victoria

Matt Hardy is giving Eddie Guerrero a prep talk about their upcoming match.

Commercial

Victoria is talking to herself in the mirror when she's approached by Shawn. He asks her why she quit being his valet; Victoria tells him that she left him when she realized he's crazy. This causes the both of them to smile.

Women's Champion Jacqueline Moore is talking on her cell phone to Theodore Long, upset that he's not at the arena.

Cruiserweight Champion Christian approaches Jamie Noble and asks him how it feels to know that his cousin has made it farther with Trish than Jamie ever will. Jamie makes as though to punch Christian, but Christian reminds him about the "no backstage violence" rule. Jamie thanks him and tells him he'll wait to knock Christian's lights out in the ring.

Tag Tournament Match 4 (Ref Rob Johnson)
Kidman & Shannon Moore vs. Eddie Guerrero & Matt Hardy
Matt hits Kidman with a Side Effect followed by the Plunge of Doom for two. Matt tags Eddie, who tries to put Kidman in the Lasso from El Paso; Kidman manages to make it to the ropes. Eddie attempts a powerbomb, but Kidman counters it into a facecrusher. Kidman is then able to hit a Sky High before making the tag. Shannon hits Eddie with a Stun Gun for two.

Commercial

Shannon hits a tombstone and attempts a Shining Star, but Eddie rolls out of the way. Eddie hits a brainbuster and hits a Frog Splash, but Kidman makes the save. Matt comes into the ring and gives Eddie a Twist of Fate before returning to the locker room. Shannon tags Kidman, who hits a Shooting Star Press for the win.

Commercial

Eddie barges into Shane's office demanding a match with Matt; Shane tells him he has it at Summerslam, but warns him that the match isn't exactly what Eddie has in mind.

Match 4 (Ref Ted Trevorte)
Brian Kendrick vs. the Dragon
Dragon is accompanied to the ring by Gail Kim. Brian attempts a Greenhorn, but Dragon flips over and hits a reverse suplex. Brian hits the Neophyte, but Dragon is able to get his shoulder up. Brian attempts the Neophyte, but Dragon dodges and hits Brian with an Asai moonsault. Dragon then forces Brian to tap out to the Dragon Sleeper.

Winner: The Dragon

Jason Cruz approaches Matt and asks him why he turned on his friend. Matt explains that it was Eddie who turned on him by refusing to help Matt two weeks ago at Vengeance.

Commercial

Kidman and Shannon approach Helms and RVD. Helms wishes Shannon good luck in their match next week, but Shannon says Helms and RVD are the ones who'll need it.

Women's Championship Match (Ref Asia Reynolds)
Women's Champion Jacqueline Moore vs. Mystery Minority
Commissioner Marissa Mazolla comes out and announces Jacqueline's opponent is Nidia Guenard. Jacqueline claims Nidia isn't a minority, but Nidia informs her she is from Puerto Rico and therefore is a minority. Nidia hits a reverse DDT for two. Jacqueline hits the Mankilla, but Nidia is able to get a shoulder up. Jacqueline attempts the Texas Heat, but Nidia dodges. Nidia then hits a cradle piledriver for the win.

New Women's Champion: Nidia Guenard

The Dragon warns His Servants that they must not trust Christian, who will surely turn his back on them in the blink of an eye.

Commercial

Jacqueline is talking on her cell phone, blaiming Theodore's being absent on her loss. She gets pissed off and tells Theodore he's fired.

Nidia approaches Marissa and thanks her for giving her another opportunity in Cruise. Marissa tells Nidia so long as Nidia stays on her education, which Nidia swears she will, she is more than welcome back.

Kurt visits the James Cousins and gives them a pep talk about their match. Jamie tells Kurt that since Kurt has Christian at Summerslam, he gets Christian tonight.

Christian barges into the Dragon's locker room and asks the Dragon if he has a problem with Christian. Dragon says he doesn't, but Christian doesn't believe him. Dragon suggests that if Christian is upset, they can always settle their differences in the ring next week.

Cruiserweight Champion Christian & the Servants of the Dragon vs. Kurt Angle & the James Cousins
The James Cousins are accompanied to the ring by Nora Greenwald and Trish. Jamie hits Christian with a Noble Bomb for two. Christian hits the Advocate and the Bad Religion, both of which earn him a two count. Christian tags Funaki, who attempts a Disciple; Jamie counters it with a thumb to the eyes and tags in to Kurt. Kurt hits five rolling German Suplexes for two. Kurt gives Funaki the ankle lock, but Tajiri stops it with the Buzzkill. Funaki tags in Tajiri, who gives Kurt the Tarantula. Tajiri attempts a handspring elbow, but Kurt counters it into an Olympic Slam. Kurt tags in James while Tajiri tags in Funaki. James attempts a DVD, but Funaki floats over and hits a Dragon Suplex for two. Funaki attempts a Funaki Driver, but this time it's James's turn to float over; James gives Funaki the Hit (Christian makes the blind tag during the move) followed by the Aristocratic. Christian hits James, prompting Jamie to come in and give Christian the Rednecker. He starts to give him the Trailer Hitch, but Rob pulls him away. Christian holds Jamie up so Tajiri can hit him with a chair, but Kurt tackles Tajiri; both men tumble to the outside. Rob gets distracted by Kurt and Tajiri's fight. Christian sets James up for an Unprettier, but Jamie slides in with the Cruiserweight Title. He swings at Christian, who ducks, and inadvertantly hits Jamies. Christian throws Jamie over the top rope and covers James; Rob turns around and makes the three count.

Tag Tournament Match 1 (Ref Ted Trevorte)
Brian Kendrick & Rey Mysterio vs. the James Cousins
The James Cousins come to the ring accompanied by Nora Greenwald. Brian hits a Jackhammer he calls the Greenhorn for two. Brian attempts a Swanton Bomb he calls the Neophyte, but Jamie rolls out of the way and makes the tag. James Stone hits the Hit and then applies the Rings of Saturn, which he refers to as the Aristocraft, but Rey makes the save. Brian hits the Sliced Bread and makes the tag, as does James. Jamie attempts the Rednecker, but Rey counters it into a leg scissors. Rey hits the 619 and goes for the West Coast Pop, but Jamie ducks and Rey counters into a sunset flip for two. Rey climbs to the top rope for the Enigma when he sees Shawn Michaels in the crowd. The sight of Shawn distracts Rey enough for James to shove him off the rope. Jamie makes the tag and James picks up the win with a DVD.

Matt Hardy approaches Eddie Guerrero in the back and begs Eddie to forgive him for last week. Eddie tells Matt to get out of his site as he makes him sick.

Sable comes to the ring to make an announcement. She says that it's no secret she only got her job based on her looks. She points out that Sunday night she was the first woman eliminated, and there's a reason for that: she's not a wrestler. She says she would love to be an in-ring competitor and compete in the Women's Division, but the truth is that she just isn't ready yet for that sort of competition. She says that she's sorry to everyone she's wronged since coming to Cruise and announces that she is now quitting.

Shawn is about to climb into his car when he's attacked by Rey, who security has to pull off of Shawn.

General Manager Shane McMahon approaches Sable in the back and tells her that he thinks she made the right decision. He suggests that she get some training and come back in a few months. Sable apologizes for everything she's done to him; Shane tells her that it's all in the past. They hug and then Sable gets in her car and drives away.

Match 2 (Ref Asia Reynolds)
Nora Greenwald vs. Trish Stratus
Nora and Trish shake hands before the match. Nora attempts the Molly-Go-Round, now referred to as the Straightforward, but Trish ducks out of the way. Trish goes for the Stratusfaction, but Nora shoves her off. Nora attempts a Crashdown, but Trish flips over her shoulders and hits a Chickkick to the back of the head for the win. Afterwards Trish helps Nora to her feet and they embrace.

Winner: Trish Stratus

Shane Helms approaches Rob Van Dam and asks him how it feels to be a part of Cruise; RVD responds by saying that it's pretty cool. Helms wishes RVD good luck in his non-title match against Cruiserweight Champion Christian.

Commercial

James approaches Trish to congratulate her on her win, which appears to upset Nora. James suggests that the two of them celebrate both their victories by going out for a bite to eat. Trish agrees and then asks Jamie and Nora if they mind; both say no. Once James and Trish leave the room, both Jamie and Nora appear upset.

The Dragon prepares His Servants for their match in the tag tournament. He says that his victory Sunday night has given them the momentum to go on and win the tournament.

Jason Cruz interviews Kurt Angle, who says he has a lot of respect for Eddie but he's still going to force the man to tap out.

Tag Tournament Match 2 (Ref Rob Johnson)
Kidman & Shannon Moore vs. the Servants of the Dragon
The Servants come out accompanied by Gail Kim. Funaki gives Shannon the Funaki Driver, but Kidman makes the save. Shannon hits a tombstone and attempts a Shining Star, but Tajiri shoves Shannon off. Tajiri comes in and gives Shannon the handspring elbow for two. Shannon drops Tajiri's throat down across the top rope in a move known as the Stun Gun and makes the tag; Kidman climbs to the top rope and hits Tajiri with the Shooting Star Press, but Tajiri kicks out.

Commercial

Funaki hits Shannon with a Dragon Suplex, but Kidman makes the save. Funaki gives Shannon a move known as the Disciple, where he starts out as though giving Shannon a reverse suplex but instead drops forward. Kidman and Tajiri come in. Tajiri attempts to powerbomb Kidman, but Kidman counters it into a facecrusher. Funaki runs in, only to receive the Sky High. Tajiri throws Kidman into the corner and applies the Tarantula. Tajiri then attempts the Buzzkill, but Kidman ducks under it and rolls out of the ring. Kidman and Shannon then return to the locker room, getting counted out.

Shane approaches Kidman and Shannon and asks them why they eliminated themselves from the tournament by getting counted out. Shannon says that the contract said you could only be eliminated by pinfall or submission. Shane says that Kidman and Shannon know the rules of matches; a count out is a loss. Shannon counters by saying that even so, they were not pinned and therefore can't be eliminated per the contract. Shane tells them that if that's how they want to play it they can; they'll just wrestle again in another first round match next week.

Match 4 (Ref Ted Trevorte)
Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle
Kurt hits several rolling German suplexes for two. Eddie starts to apply the Lasso from El Paso, but Kurt counters it into an ankle lock; Eddie quickly makes it to the ropes. Eddie hits a brainbuster for two. Kurt hits an Olympic Slam, but is unable to make the cover. Matt runs out and jumps on the ring apron, distracting Ted. Ted doesn't notice as Matt tosses a chain to Eddie, who appears momentarily confused by Matt's appearance. Eddie hits Kurt with the chain and then climbs up top and hits the Frog Splash. Ted turns around in time to make the three count.

Winner: Eddie Guerrero

Women's Champion Jacqueline Moore and Theodore Long approach Jason. Jacqueline says that she is issueing an open challenge to any female minority to step into the ring and fight her for the title. Jason asks Jacqueline if she's serious about defending only against minorities; Jacqueline responds by saying that as Women's Champion she refuses to step in the ring with a white woman. She's about to say more when she's approached by Jazz, who tells her that she's invoking her right for a rematch right here tonight. Jazz walks off, leaving Jacqueline and Theodore looking nervous.

Commercial

Eddie approaches Matt in the locker room and asks him why Matt helped him against Kurt. Matt says that part of the reason was because he hates Kurt, but he also did it to show Eddie that he really is sorry. Eddie says he believes Matt now and accepts his apology. Matt then suggests that the two of them talk to Shane and see if it's not too late to join the tag tournament.

Women's Championship (Ref Asia Reynolds)
Women's Champion Jacqueline Moore vs. Jazz
Jacqueline comes to the ring accompanied by Theodore. Jazz hits the Widow's Peak, but Jacqueline gets her foot on the rope. Jacqueline attempts the Mankilla, but Jazz dodges. Jazz hits a powerslam for two. Jacqueline flips off the top rope and gives Jazz a leg drop in a move known as the Texas Heat for three.

Still Women's Champion: Jacqueline Moore

Christian approaches Shane in the locker room and asks him why he has to be RVD's first opponent. He complains and says that the Cruiserweight Champion should never wrestle a "rookie" like RVD. Shane responds by saying that Christian is lucky Shane isn't making him defend his title, but Shane doesn't plan on putting the title on the line until Summerslam when Christian will take on a veteran. Christian asks who he will be taking on; Shane tells him that he will be wrestling in a best two out of three falls match against Kurt.

Commercial

Eddie and Matt approach Shane and ask if they can join the tag tournament. Shane tells them he's glad somebody signed up; now they can be the ones to take on Kidman and Shannon next week.

Jacqueline and Theodore are returning to their locker rooms when they're approached by Jason, who asks who Jacqueline will next defend her title against. Jacqueline responds by saying there are no other minorities on Cruise, so she won't defend the title against anyone else. Jason points out that Gail Kim, who is Asian, is a minority. Commissioner Marissa Mazolla approaches Jacqueline and tells her that she's found some other minority Jacqueline can defend her title against. Jacqueline asks who it is, but Marissa tells her she'll find out next week.

Kurt is throwing things in the back looking for Matt when he's approached by Helms, who informs him that Kurt is the number one contender for the Cruiserweight Championship. This makes Kurt happy; he says that August will be a great month because first he's going to snap Matt's ankle and then he'll go on to snap Christian's.

Christian approaches RVD and gets in his face, but RVD stands right back up to him.

Kurt comes out to commentate. RVD hits a rolling thunder, but Christian gets his foot on the rope. RVD hits a Van Terminator. Christian hits the Bad Religion for two. Christian hits a falling reverse DDT, no known as the Advocate, for two. Christian attempts an Unprettier, but RVD shoves him into the ropes and hits him with a kick. RVD climbs to the top rope and attempts a Five Star Frog Splash, but Christian rolls out of the way. Christian is able to connect with an Unprettier for three.

Shane comes out and announces that he couldn't bar Gail from coming to the arena as she has a shot at the Women's Championship later on in the evening, but he can ban her from ringside during this match. The Dragon hits a reverse suplex for two. Rey hits the Enigma for two. Rey hits the 619 and attempts a West Coast Pop, but the Dragon counters it with a dropkick to the face. The Dragon attempts a Dragon Sleeper, but Rey is able to get to the rope. Rey hits a West Coast Pop for two. Rey attempts a sunset flip, but the Dragon drops down on Rey's chest and gets the three.

Winner: The Dragon

Jacqueline comes to the ring accompanied by Theodore Long. Trish Stratus eliminates Ivory's partner Sable with hurricanrana off the top rope. Trish eliminates Jazz's partner Nora with a Chickkick. Jazz eliminates Jacqueline's partner Victoria by countering a PsychOut into a roll up. Ivory eliminates Gail's partner Trish by countering a Stratusfaction into a backdrop. Gail attempts to give Jazz a Dragonsteiner, but Jazz holds onto the ropes and Gail crashes to the mat alone; Jazz then climbs down and pins Gail. Ivory attempts to DDT Jazz, but Jazz counters it into an overhead suplex into a bridge for three. Jacqueline pins Jazz with the Mankilla.

Helms hits the Nightmare on Helms Street less than a minute into the match, but Christian is able to get his shoulder up. Christian hits a falling reverse DDT for two. Helms attempts the Sugarsmack, but Christian ducks and Helms connects with Shane. Helms attempts a chokeslam, but Christian counters with a kick to the balls. Christian hits the Bad Religion, but Shane is still unconscious. Christian slides out of the ring and grabs a chair. He's just about to hit Helms with it when he sees Shane staring at him. Tossing the chair aside, Christian attempts an Unprettier; Helms counters it into a rollup for two. Helms climbs to the top rope and attempts a flying cross body block, but Christian rolls through and gets the three with a handful of tights.

Cruiserweight Champion Christian vs. Tajiri
Christian hits the Bad Religion for two. Tajiri hits a handspring elbow. Christian hits a falling reverse DDT for two. Tajiri applies the Tarantula and then attempts the Buzzkill, but Christian ducks under and hits the Unprettier for the win.

Winner: Christian

Commercial

Rey Mysterio approaches General Manager Shane McMahon in his office and signs himself and Brian Kendrick up in the tag team tournament.

Commissioner Marissa Mazolla comes to the ring and announces that there will be a Diva Battle Royal tonight. The first person eliminated will team with the second person eliminated tomorrow in the championship match, as will the third and fourth, fifth and sixth, and final two women in the match. She says that there will be four women in the ring tomorrow night. When one woman is eliminated, she is sent to the back and her partner has the handicap of being unable to tag out. The match will continue until there are only two women left, with those two women fighting to determine who is the undisputed Women's Champion.

James Stone assures Nora Greenwald that she will do just fine in tonight's tournament.

Commercial

Gail Kim approaches Trish Stratus and tells her that she was lucky last week, but she won't be so lucky tonight when Gail gets her hands on her.

Match 2 (Red Ted Trevorte)
Shane Helms vs. Shannon Moore
Christian comes to the ring to do color commentary. Helms hits the Sugarsmack for two. Helms attempts a Vertebreaker, but Shannon counters it and rolls Helms up for two. Helms hits the Nightmare on Helms Street, but Christian places Shannon's foot on the rope. Shannon hits a tombstone and attempts a Shining Star, but Helms rolls out of the way. Helms grabs Shannon for a chokeslam, but he's hit from behind by Christian.

Winner: Shane Helms via disqualification

Christian continues to beat on Helms while Shannon leaves the ring. Christian hits Helms with a chair and then gives him a One-Man Conchairto.

Commercial

Helms is loaded into an ambulance to be rushed to the hospital.

Jason Cruz tries interviewing Victoria, but she doesn't seem to understand a word he says. She walks over to a mirror and then starts talking to somebody called "sweetie."

Shane approaches Christian and tells him that tomorrow night Shane will be guest refereeing Christian's match with Helms to make sure Christian doesn't cheat. Shane tells Christian that if Christian attempts to get himself disqualified or counted out tomorrow, the title will change hands. Christian tries to convince him to change his mind, but Shane tells him that Christian went too far in his attack on Helms and he must be punished.

Diva Battle Royal (Ref Asia Reynolds)
Women's Champion Jazz vs. Gail Kim vs. Ivory vs. Jacqueline Moore vs. Nora Greenwald vs. Sable vs. Trish Stratus vs. Victoria
Jacqueline comes to the ring accompanied by Theodore Long. Jacqueline climbs to the top rope but Jazz shoves her to the floor, eliminating her. Victoria attempts a PsychOut on Sable, but Sable shoves her over the top rope. Victoria slides back in the ring and gives Ivory a DDT, which allows Gail to pick Ivory up and eliminate her. Victoria continues pounding on Ivory until Steven Richards runs out to pull her off. Victoria starts screaming while officials run out to check on Ivory.

Commercial

During the break Sable attempted to Sable Bomb Nora, only to get backdropped over the top rope instead. Nora tosses Gail over the top rope, but Gail holds on. Nora charges at Gail but Gail ducks, pulling the top rope down, and Nora falls over the top to the floor. Trish attempts the Stratusfaction on Jazz, but Jazz shoves her to the center of the mat. Jazz sends Gail over the top rope, but again Gail holds on. Jazz turns around into a chickkick, which sends her over the top rope.

Gail Kim & Trish Stratus are the final two women

Commercial

The Dragon approaches Gail and tells her that she proved herself by being one of the last remaining women in the battle royal. He then tells her that tomorrow she must form an alliance with Trish in order to go on and become the new Women's Champion.

Match 4 (Ref Ted Trevorte)
Eddie Guerrero vs. Matt Hardy
Matt scores a two count with both the Side Effect and the Free Verse. Matt attempts his patended leg drop from the second rope, but Eddie dodges out of the way. Eddie then attempts to get Matt with the Lasso from El Paso, but Matt is too close to the ropes. Eddie hits a brainbuster and attempts a frog splash, but Matt rolls out of the way. Eddie changes his momentum to roll to his feet and charges at Matt, who drop toe holds Eddie into the middle turnbuckle. Eddie attempts to use the Twist of Fate against Matt, but Matt low blows him and then hits a Twist of Fate of his own for the win.

Winner: Matt Hardy

In the back Kurt was watching the match on a monitor. He says that Matt is incapable of winning a match without cheating. Kurt says that Matt can cheat all he wants tomorrow night, but Matt will still wind up tapping out when Matt breaks his ankle.

Commercial

Eddie approaches Matt in the back, furious that Matt cheated. Matt says that it wasn't his fault Shane booked the two of them to wrestle. Eddie says that Matt can forget having Eddie's help tomorrow against Kurt as well as teaming with Matt in the tag tournament. Matt tries to calm Eddie down, but slams the door on his way out.

Match 6 (Ref Asia Reynolds)
The Dragon vs. Rey Mysterio
The Dragon is accompanied by Gail. Rey hits the Enigma, but the Dragon kicks out. The Dragon applies the Dragon Sleeper, but Rey uses the ropes to bounce backwards and gets the Dragon into a pinning position for two. Rey hits the 619 and is about to attempt the West Coast Pop when he's attacked from behind by Tajiri. Tajiri attempts a Buzzkill, but Rey ducks under and shoves Tajiri into the ring steps.

Sable finds Ivory in the back and starts to talk to her about how they'll be teaming together tomorrow night, but Ivory blows her off.

Shane approaches the Dragon, Gail, and Tajiri and tells them that tomorrow night the Dragon's Servants will be barred from the arena.

Ivory enters Marissa's office and demands a match against Victoria, but Marissa tells her there's no time tonight. Marissa tells Ivory that she can just get her revenge against Victoria tomorrow night.

Jacqueline is trashing her locker room while Theodore tries to calm her down. He eventually convinces her that just because she was the first woman eliminated tonight doesn't mean she won't fair well tomorrow night. Theodore assures her that if she stays calm, she can go on to win the Women's Championship tomorrow night.

Jazz approaches Trish in the locker room and congratulates her on eliminating her tonight, but warns that tomorrow Jazz's she's going to get revenge.

James is accompanied by Nora while Steven comes to the ring with Ivory. Steven climbs to the top rope, but Kurt runs up and belly to belly suplexes him off. James gives Kurt the Hit for two. Steven gives James the Steven Kick, which sends James to the outside. Kurt then hits Steven with an Olympic Slam for the win.

Steven comes to the ring accompanied by Ivory. Spike hits a double foot stomp from the top rope for two. Steven misses with a Steven Kick. Spike wins with the Dudley Dog.

Brian Kendrick appears on the big screen to announce that he will be ready to make his return to Cruise in two weeks.

General Manager Shane McMahon comes to the ring. Shane says that he has decided to create a tag team division for Cruise. He says that starting in two weeks, there will be a tag team tournament with the finals to determine the first ever Cruise Tag Team Champions. He says that if anyone is interested in participating in the tournament to go to his office and sign up. Jamie Noble and James Stone come out to the ramp. James says that he knows Shane said to go to his office to sign, but he and Jamie wanted to come out and be the first ones to sign up for the tag team tournament. Shane welcomes them into the ring, where each signs a contract. Jamie then announces that he and James have a new manager, who also happens to be the woman who came up with the tag team division in the first place: Nora Greenwald. Nora comes out and thanks Shane for listening to her suggestion, and then says that she hopes she can guide the James Cousins to becoming the first ever Tag Team Champions.

Steven and Ivory knock on Spike's locker room door. They congratulate Spike on his victory. Ivory then suggests that perhaps Spike and Steven would like to team together and try to win the Tag Team Championship. Spike and Steven both agree this is a good idea.

Commercial

Matt Hardy has his back turned to the camera while talking on the cell phone. Matt turns around and sees the camera man, who Matt immediately pushes out of the room before closing the door behind him.

Gail Kim vs. Trish Stratus
Trish hits a Chickkick for two. Gail attempts a Dragonsteiner, but Trish holds on to the top rope and Gail crashes to the mat. When Gail gets up Trish leaps off the ropes with a sunset flip for the win.

Spike, Steven, and Ivory go to Shane's office and sign to enter the tag team tournament. While they're signing, Shane gets a phone call on his cell; he then excuses himself and goes rushing out of the room.

Commercial

A hidden black and white camera is shooting Trish in the shower; a small while is in the way to prevent any nudity. Trish begins to towel herself off when we see Commissioner Marissa Mazolla's face fill the camera, which she then shuts off.

Shane barges into a janitor's closet, startling Kidman, who was watching the shower scene. Shane tells Kidman that he and Marissa figured out it was him with all of the illegal videotaping going on. Shane has security escort Kidman to Shane's office, where Shane will decide what to do with Kidman.

Gail is speaking rapidly in Japanese. The Dragon approaches her and tells her to calm down. He says that that whatever doesn't kill you can only make you stronger. Gail says she let him down, but the Dragon tells her that she can make it up to him by winning the Women's Championship at Vengeance. This appears to cheer Gail up.

Match 3 (Ref Rob Johnson)
Rey Mysterio vs. Tajiri
Tajiri comes to the ring accompanied by the Dragon and His Servants, but they leave ringside before the match officially begins. Tajiri hits the handspring elbow for two. Tajiri attempts the Buzzkill, but Rey ducks under and rolls him up for two. Rey hits the 619 and goes for the West Coast Pop, but Tajiri spits green mist into Rey's eyes and hits the Buzzkill for two. Tajiri lays several kicks into Rey, backing him up against the ropes; Tajiri then lands a kick that sends Rey flying over the top rope.

Commercial

Tajiri has Rey in the Tarantula as we come back from the commercial break. Tajiri attempts another handspring elbow, but Rey counters it with a dropkick to the back of the head. Rey then hits the 619 and West Coast Pop for the win.

The Dragon and His Servants enter Shane's locker room, where Kidman is sitting in a corner with guards watching him. The Dragon tells Shane the Servants want to join the tag team tournament. Tajiri suggests that perhaps the Dragon should team with Funaki as Tajiri shamed himself tonight by losing, but the Dragon says there is no shame in a loss...only in giving up. At the Dragon's words, Funaki and Tajiri sign up for the tournament.

Women's Championship Match (Ref Asia Reynolds)
Women's Champion Jazz vs. Ivory
Ivory attempts a DDT, but Jazz counters it into an overhead belly-to-belly for the win.

The James Cousins, Nora, and Trish barge into Shane's office, demanding to know what the hell Shane is doing about Kidman. Shane informs them that he has already called the cops, who are on their way to arrest Kidman; Kidman starts to protest, but the guards silence him. Jamie suggests that Shane should let him get his hands on Kidman, as jail isn't good enough for Kidman. Kidman responds by saying that he's wrestled Jamie before and has always come away the victor. Jamie begs Shane to let him beat the hell out of Kidman, but Shane says that he can't allow Jamie to do that as Kidman isn't a member of Cruise. Kidman suggests that he and Jamie could have a match where if Jamie wins Kidman goes to jail, but if Kidman wins he not only gets away with what he did but he gets a contract with Cruise. Shane asks Trish which she would prefer, as she's the one Kidman wronged; Trish puts a hand on Jamie's shoulders and tells him to kick Kidman's ass.

Kurt Angle walks into Matt's locker room. Kurt tells Matt that he hates Matt's freaking guts, but tonight they have to work together if they want to beat Cruiserweight Champion Christian and Shane Helms. Matt tells Kurt that he's an expert at tag team wrestling, so he's not the one to worry about; Matt says he's more concerned that Kurt will allow his huge ego to cost them the match. Kurt tells Matt that tonight he needs Matt whole, but at Vengeance he's going to break Matt's freaking ankle.

Match 5 (Ref Ted Trevorte)
Jamie Noble vs. Kidman
Jamie comes to the ring accompanied by James, Nora, and Trish, all of whom are sent to the back. Kidman hits his sky high version of a powerbomb for two. Jamie attempts a Rednecker, but Kidman counters it into a hurricanrana. Jamie attempts the Trailer Hitch, but Kidman counters with a thumb to the eyes. Jamie attempts a powerbomb, but Kidman counters it into a facebuster. Kidman climbs to the top, but Jamie gets up and superplexes him off. Jamie hits a Rednecker, but Kidman is able to get his foot on the rope. Kidman slides out of the ring and starts heading to the locker room. While Ted is counting Kidman out, Shannon Moore slides into the ring and hits Jamie with a pair of brass knuckles. Kidman then comes back to the ring and hits the Shooting Star Press for the win. Kidman and Shannon then return to the locker room together.

Helms enters Shane's locker room and tells him he wishes to join the tag tournament. Shane asks him who his partner is going to be. Helms says he doesn't want to reveal to the public yet who his partner will be, but he's willing to tell Shane. He whispers in Shane's ear, and Shane's eyes light up with delight.

Kidman and Shannon enter Shane's office. Shane demands to know why the hell Shannon would help a pervert like Kidman earn a contract. Shannon says that Kidman sees what Shane has turned a blind eye to, which is that Shannon is a true Superstar; he says Kidman has promised to show him how to reach the very top of the ladder at Cruise. Shane asks how they're going to do that; Kidman grabs a clipboard out of Shane's hands and says that he and Shannon are going to win the tag team tournament.

Jazz approaches Ivory, who is with Spike and Steven, in her locker room. Jazz tells Ivory that she has nothing but respect for her. She then wishes Spike and Steven the best of luck in the tag team tournament.

Helms approaches Kurt in the locker room. Helms tells Kurt that he knows the two of them will be competing against each other tonight and they had some words for each other last week, but Helms is a huge fan of Kurt's in-ring work. He wishes Kurt the best of luck in their match tonight, which Kurt reciprocates.

Christian barges into Shane's locker room, demanding to know why the hell Shane booked him to team with Helms tonight. Shane says that in the past few weeks Christian and Helms's affairs have been crossing paths with Kurt and Matt's, so it's only natural to book the four of them in a tag team match against each other tonight. Christian asks why out of all three men he has to team with Helms; Shane responds by asking if Christian's relationships with Kurt or Matt are any better. Shane tells Christian that there isn't a person on Cruise he could pair Christian up with that doesn't hate Christian's guts.

Helms hits Matt with a Sugarsmack for two. Matt hits a Side Effect for two. Kurt hits six rolling German suplexes, but Christian makes the save. Christian hits a falling reverse DDT for two. Helms climbs to the top rope for a flying cross body block, but Kurt runs up and belly to belly suplexes him off. Kurt attempts a moonsault, but Helms dodges. Matt attempts a Twist of Fate, but Christian counters it into a Bad Religion for two. Matt hits a Free Verse followed by his patented second leg rope drop for two. Helms tags himself in as Kurt hits an Olympic Slam on Christian. Helms hits both a chokeslam and a Nightmare on Helms Street, both of which only earn him a two. Matt grabs a chair and is about to hit Helms with it when Rob snatches it out of his hands. While Rob is ordering Matt back to the ring apron, Christian slides in the ring and hits Helms in the back of the head with the Cruiserweight Championship. Kurt slides over and covers Helms; Rob turns around and makes the three count. Christian stands at the top of the ramp holding his belt as the show goes off the air.

Jacqueline comes to the ring accompanied by Theodore Long. Sable attempts a Sable Bomb, but Jacqueline counters it into a backdrop. Jacqueline attempts the Mankilla, but Sable dodges and then scores a two count. Sable attempts another Sable Bomb but as soon as she gets Jacqueline in the air Theodore hits him from behind with a kendo stick, allowing Jacqueline to get the win.

Kurt Angle is being interviewed by Jason Cruz. Kurt says that he respects Shane Helms as an athlete, but Helms pissed him off last week by interfering in the Cruiserweight Title Match. Kurt says that this week he's going to teach Helms what happens when you mess with an Olympic athlete.

James Stone and Jamie Noble, collectively known as the James Cousins, come to the ring. Jamie says he doesn't know who that woman was last week, and he doesn't care; all he's concerned about is getting a rematch against Funaki and Tajiri so they can teach them a lesson for their attack on Trish Stratus. Rey Mysterio comes out and says that he also wants to step in the ring with Funaki and Tajiri. Funaki and Tajiri come out along with the Asian female from last week, whose name is Gail Kim. Funaki tells Rey and the Cousins that they can have their wish tonight in a six man elimination tag team match against them as well as their leader, the Dragon.

Victoria is in her locker room holding a handheld mirror. She's nodding at it, as though it is saying something to her. She then tells the mirror that that's a good idea and starts laughing.

Commercial

Jason approaches Rey in the back and asks him about the Dragon. Rey says he's fought the Dragon before and has great respect for him; he then says that he finds it hard to believe that the Dragon he knows would associate with Funaki and Tajiri. Rey says he hopes the Dragon is an imposter and not the one Rey knows from the past, because if it's the same man than this Dragon is only a shell of the man he once was.

Matt Hardy vs. Steven Richards
Steven comes to the ring accompanied by Ivory. Matt hits a Side Effect for two. Matt attempts the Free Verse, but Steven counters it into a crucifix for two. Steven attempts a Steven Kick, but Matt ducks under it and hits a Twist of Fate for the win.

After the match Matt starts heading up the ramp when he sees Ivory trying to help Steven up. Matt climbs back in the ring and pulls Ivory up by the hair. Matt starts yelling at her and sets her up for the Twist of Fate when he's interrupted by Kurt Angle. Kurt attempts an Olympic Slam, but Matt escapes and returns to the back with a look of hatred on his face.

Commercial

Jason catches up with Matt in the back and asks him why he went after Ivory. Matt says that last week he was screwed out of the title against Christian and that from now on he's going to take out his aggression on everyone he comes across in the ring. He says that if women don't want to get attacked they had better stay out of the ring because he's going to take out his aggression on everyone, no matter what the gender.

Nora Greenwald knocks on General Manager Shane McMahon's office door before entering. She tells Shane that Michael Lockwood gave her a suggestion last week at the airport that she would like to pass along to him. She says that Michael suggested Shane could come up with a tag team division for Cruise so that they won't be the only division without one. Shane says that he likes the idea and will thank about creating a new tag team division in Cruise.

Women's Champion Jazz is in her locker room when she's approached by Victoria, who is still carrying her handheld mirror. Victoria challenges Jazz to a title match for tonight. Jazz asks her if she's crazy and then agrees to the match. Victoria starts laughing before Jazz closes the door in her face.

Six Man Elimination Tag Team Match (Ref Rob Johnson)
The Dragon & His Servants vs. Rey Mysterio & the James Cousins
The Dragon and His Servants come to the ring accompanied by Gail. Tajiri hits a handspring elbow on James for two. Funaki gives James a Funaki Driver, but Rey makes the save. James attempts the Hit, but it's countered. James attempts a bodyslam but Funaki slides over his shoulder and then hits a Dragon Suplex for three. Jamie comes in and hits a Rednecker, but the Dragon makes the save. Dragon forces Jamie to tap out to the Dragon Sleeper.

Commercial

Rey nearly eliminates the Dragon, but Funaki and Tajiri made the save both times. Funaki attempts another Funaki Driver, but Rey counters it into a small package for three. The Dragon and Tajiri try to double team Rey, but Rey counters their efforts with a double dropkick. Gail climbs to the top rope, but Trish climbs over the barricade and shoves Gail to the ground. Rey climbs to the top rope and hits Tajiri with the Enigma for three. Rey gives the Dragon the 619 and attempts a West Coast Pop, but the Dragon counters it into a powerbomb for the win.

A black and white camera hidden in Shane's office is filming him as he's searching through papers. Sable barges into the room and begs Shane to help her. She tells him that her life has been falling apart lately. She says that she's lost her title, her only allies have turned against her, and her husband is leaving her. Shane tells her he's sorry, but there isn't anything he can do for her. Sable again begs him to help her to turn her career around; instead Shane suggests that perhaps Sable just can't cut it as a Cruise diva and should therefore quit.

Match 4 (Ref Asia Reynolds)
Women's Champion Jazz vs. Victoria
Victoria hits a PsychOut, but Jazz is able to get a shoulder up. Victoria grabs her mirror and shatters it over Jazz's head, calling for the bell. Victoria returns to the locker room, all the while talking to her broken mirror.

Winner: Jazz via disqualification

Cruiserweight Champion Christian walks up into Nora's locker room and tells her that her tag team division idea is the stupidest idea he's ever heard of. Nora counters by saying that Christian only thinks that because Christian doesn't have any friends to team up with. Christian gets in Nora's face before he's pulled back by Spike Dudley, who challenges Christian to take on somebody his own size. Spike even gets Christian to agree to putting the title on the line.

Commercial

Helms is at a drink machine when he sees Shannon Moore enter the arena. Helms runs up to him to talk to him. Shannon gets aggravated and tells Helms he doesn't have time to talk to him. Helms asks Shannon what his problem is; he says he and Shannon always used to be such great friends, but now Shannon is into his own thing and never wants to hang out with Helms any more. Shannon tells Helms that he doesn't like Helms any more because he's just a thirteen year old comic geek who has never learned to grow up. Shannon then walks off with Helms looking hurt.

Cruiserweight Championship Match (Ref Ted Trevorte)
Cruiserweight Champion Christian vs. Spike Dudley
Christian hits the Bad Religion for two. Christian hits a falling reverse DDT for two. Spike hits a double foot stomp from the top rope for two. Spike goes for the Dudley Dog, but Christian counters it by shoving him into the corner. Christian then attempts the Unprettier, but Spike counters it and shoves Christian into Ted. Spike follows this up with the Dudley Dog and goes for the cover, but the ref is still down. Spike goes over to revive Ted. Once Ted is on his feet Spike attempts another Dudley Dog but this time Christian counters it by shoving him over the top rope to the floor, where Spike is counted out.

Winner: Christian via countout

The Dragon and His Servants are in their locker room when they're approached by Commissioner Marissa Mazolla. She congratulates them on their victory in the six man elimination tag match, but then says that if Gail wishes to be a part of their group she must sign a contract to become an official Cruise diva. Gail nods and smiles before accepting the contract and signing it. Once it's signed Marissa tells her that she'll make her ring debut next week in a match against Trish, with the Dragon and His Servants barred from ringside.

Shannon barges into Shane's office and demands that Shane rehire Nidia, which Shane refuses to do. Shannon asks Shane what happened to their friendship, to which Shane says that Shannon was never really a friend; he says that all Shannon cared about was getting close to Shane so he would receive favors. Shannon insists that isn't true, but Shane says whether it is or isn't he refuses to rehire Nidia. Shannon begs him, saying Nidia just needs somebody to show her they care for her, but Shane won't listen.

Jamie approaches Nora in the back and tells her that he thinks her tag division idea is a great idea. He says that he and James have talked about it, and they would really like to become a part of the division should Shane decide to create one. Jamie then asks her if she'd be willing to be their manager. Nora smiles and says she'll think about it.

Jacqueline and Theodore approach Jason in the back and demand an interview. Jason tells them he was just leaving, but they don't care. Jacqueline tells him that when she wants to talk, Jason had better learn to be there to listen. Jacqueline then says that tonight she proved she is not only Sable's superior, but any white woman's superior as well. She guarantees that the final two women involved in the Women's Championship Match at Vengeance will be her and Jazz, because blacks are simply superior to whites. She says that the finals will come down to her and Jazz, with Jacqueline prevailing upon which she will only defend the championship against other minorities.

Helms goes to Kurt's locker room to ask him about his interview earlier. Kurt says that Helms had no business interfering in the match; Helms counters by saying he had every right to interfere in the match because Kurt was trying to screw Christian out of the title so he could beat Matt for it at Vengeance. Kurt gets in Helms's face and tells him he's glad they'll be stepping in the ring in the next three minutes, because he doesn't think he can go much longer without kicking Helms's ass.

Helms attempts a Vertebreaker, but Kurt counters it into four rolling suplexes for two. Kurt attempts an Olympic Slam, but Helms counters it into a Nightmare on Helms Street for two. Helms climbs to the top rope, but Kurt rushes up to belly to belly suplex him off; Helms shoves Kurt down and then hits a flying cross body block, which Kurt rolls through and slaps on an ankle lock. Helms climbs to his feet and attempts to get out of it with an insiguri, but Kurt ducks and holds on; Helms eventually makes the ropes. Kurt puts Helms on the top rope and hits a top rope Olympic Slam, but he's too slow to make the cover and when he does he only gets two. Kurt then goes for a top rope moonsault, but Helms is able to roll out of the way. Helms attempts a Sugarsmack, but Kurt catches his leg; Helms responds so quickly that this time he is actually able to connect with the insiguri. Helms follows this up with a chokeslam for two. Helms tries another Nightmare on Helms Street, but Kurt counters it into a German suplex attempt; Helms is then able to shift momentum and roll Kurt up for the win. After the hard fought match, Helms and Kurt both get up and shake each others' hands.

Matt Hardy approaches Kurt Angle in the locker room. Kurt half-heartedly wishes Matt good luck in his title shot against Cruiserweight Champion Christian. Matt asks Kurt what the hell Kurt is doing at the arena, as Kurt doesn't even have a match tonight. Kurt tells Matt that even though he doesn't have a match, he still has some business to take care of.

Rey Mysterio comes to the ring. Rey is pissed off that General Manager Shane McMahon has fired Shawn Michaels. Rey demands that Shane come out and rehire Shawn so Rey can get his hands on him at Vengeance. Shane comes out and refuses to rehire Shawn. Shane tells Rey that he knows Rey wants Shawn in the ring, but Shane isn't willing to put all of his wrestlers' careers on the line so Rey can get vengeance. Shane tells Rey not to worry about Vengeance, though, as Shane has signed Rey to fight in a different match at the ppv. Rey asks who it is, but Shane says Rey's opponent will come forward when he is ready.

Ivory is in her locker room when she receives a bouquet of roses. She reads the card out loud: "Roses aren't white, violets aren't yellow, when you beat Victoria, meet me at the hotel. Steven R." Ivory smiles as she sets the roses in a glass vase.

Commercial

Spike knocks on Shane's door and enters. He asks Shane if he's seen Nora Greenwald around. Shane tells Spike that earlier in the day Michael Lockwood resigned due to his embarassment and has decided to return home; Shane informs Spike that Nora has decided to go with Michael and has left the arena. Spike asks Shane what time Michael's flight is; Shane tells him it's in just over an hour. Spike thanks Shane and then rushes out.

Women's Championship Match (Ref Asia Reynolds)
Women's Champion Jazz vs. Jacqueline Moore
Jacqueline comes to the ring accompanied by Theodore Long. Halfway into the match Sable makes her way to the ring. Jazz hits a powerslam for two. Jacqueline hits the Mankilla, but Jazz gets her foot on the rope. Theodore climbs on the ring apron to distract Asia. Sable grabs the Women's Championship and slides in the ring. She tries to hit Jazz with the belt, but Jazz ducks and Sable inadvertantly hits Jacqueline with it. Jazz throws Sable over the top rope and covers Jacqueline. Asia turns around and makes the three count. Theodore tries to help up Jacqueline while Sable begs for forgiveness. Theodore tells her to leave him and Jacqueline the hell alone.

Funaki and Tajiri, both dressed in black leather, approach Rey. Funaki tells Rey that what Shawn did to Rey last week is going to be nothing compared to what happens to Rey at Vengeance. Rey asks Funaki if he knows who Rey will be facing. Funaki and Tajiri start to walk off, but Rey tries to stop them. Tajiri warns Rey to keep his hands off them.

Commercial

Jacqueline and Theodore barge into Commissioner Marissa Mazolla's office. Jacqueline tells Marissa that she's sick and tired of Sable causing her to lose all her matches. Jacqueline demands that Marissa book a match between Jacqueline and Sable next week. Marissa gets in Jacqueline's face and tells her that she is in no position to make demands of Marissa. She then tells Jacqueline that she can face Sable next week in a hardcore match.

Sable barges into Jazz's locker room and begs Jazz to forgive her for everything she has done. Sable says that she always liked Jazz and didn't mean to piss Jazz off with her mind games and her alliance with Jacqueline and Theodore. Jazz reminds Sable that just a few minutes ago, Sable tried to cause Jazz the Women's Championship. Jazz gets in Sable's face and tells her that the only reason she hasn't already wiped Sable's pretty little face off is because she doesn't want to get fired for attacking her in the locker room. Sable runs out and Jazz slams the door behind her.

Christian approaches Kurt and asks him how it feels to have been defeated a weak earlier; Kurt counters by asking Christian how it felt to be forced to tap out two weeks ago. Kurt tells Christian that he may have beat him last week, but it's only a matter of time before Kurt gets his hands around the Cruiserweight Championship. As Christian walks off, Kurt tells Christian he'll be seeing him again in the ring real soon.

Rey Mysterio comes out first to do color commentary. Trish Stratus accompanies James and Jamie to the ring. Funaki and Tajiri come to the ring with brand new black leather outfits with a dragon embroidered on the chest. Funaki hits Jamie with a Funaki Driver for two. Tajiri hits a handspring elbow for two. Jamie catches Tajiri with a Rednecker. James comes in and gives Tajiri the Hit, but the three count is stopped when Funaki leaps off the top rope with a kneedrop to James's head.

Commercial

During the break Funaki hit another Funaki Driver on James, but Jamie made the save. Tajiri gives James the Tarantula; while he is doing that, he spits some mist into Trish's eyes. Tajiri places James over his knee while Funaki climbs to the top rope, but Jamie runs in and crotches Funaki on the top rope and then giving Tajiri a dropkick. Jamie comes in and attempts the Trailer Hitch, but Funaki dropkicks him off Tajiri. Tajiri goes outside and starts stalking Trish when Trish is hit from behind with a steel chair by an Asian woman in the audience who is dressed in leather. The woman climbs over the barrier and starts stomping away on Trish while Tajiri looks on. James tries to come to Trish's aid, but Tajiri sends him crashing into the steel steps. Inside the ring Funaki hits Jamie with a reverse suplex for the win.

Tajiri and the Asian woman throw Trish into the ring. Rey goes to save her, but Funaki and Tajiri beat him down. The Asian woman gives Trish a piledriver, and then pulls Trish up to a sitting position. Funaki forces Rey to watch as Tajiri gives Trish the Buzzkill. Tajiri then turns and gives Rey one as well. Funaki and Tajiri leave the ring with fans wondering who is this mysterious Asian woman and what has caused such a violent change in attitude in Funaki and Tajiri.

James, Jamie, and Rey watch helplessly as Trish is stretchered into an ambulance.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Shannon Moore
Shannon comes to the ring accompanied by Nidia. Shannon hits a tombstone for two. Shannon goes for a Shining Star, but Eddie rolls out of the way. Eddie dropkicks Shannon, who tumbles to the outside. Eddie tries to suplex Shannon back in the ring, but Nidia grabs his leg and trips him for two. Shannon tries another tombstone, but Eddie counters it into one of his own. Eddie climbs to the top rope, which causes Nidia to climb on the ring apron to try to stop him. Eddie kicks Nidia, who falls to the arena floor, and then gives Shannon a frog splash for the win.

Helms approaches Shannon in the locker room. Shannon gets defensive, thinking he's going to be attacked, but Helms tells him he's only there to give him some advice. Helms warns Shannon that Nidia is crazy and he shouldn't trust her. Shannon tells Helms that he's just jealous that Shannon is now seeing Helms's ex-girlfriend. Helms tells him that Nidia wasn't his girlfriend, she was a one-night stand, and one that he regrets. He warns Shannon that Nidia will try to hurt anyone that gets in her way, but Shannon won't listen and tells him to mind his own business.

Match 5 (Ref Asia Reynolds)
Ivory vs. Victoria
Ivory comes to the ring with the roses in a vase Steven sent her. Victoria comes out and the match begins. Ivory attempts a DDT, but Victoria counters it by shoving Ivory into the turnbuckle. Victoria attempts a cutter, but Ivory shoves her into Asia. Ivory hits a DDT, but Asia is unable to make the count. Ivory tries to help Asia up while Victoria slides outside and grabs the vase from the announcer's table. Victoria slides in and shatters the vase over the back of Ivory's head. Asia, who had just regained consciousness, sees this and disqualifies Victoria. Victoria doesn't care and picks up Ivory to give her a cutter, which is now referred to as the PsychOut.

Eddie is climbing into his car when he sees a car veering for him. Eddie leaps out of the way just as the car smashes into his car door. Nidia climbs out of the car and starts shrieking at Eddie. She tries to hit him, but Eddie grabs a hold of her and slams her facefirst into the trunk of his smashed car. Eddie screams for somebody to call the police while he holds Nidia against the trunk.

Marissa walks up while Nidia is being shoved into a police car. Eddie starts to tell her what happened, but Marissa tells him she saw the whole thing on her monitor in her office. Marissa convinces the policeman to open the door so she can have a word with Nidia. Marissa tells Nidia that apparently only one thing is getting through the Superstars' heads in regards to no backstage violence; she then tells Nidia that she is fired.

Victoria enters her locker room and looks into the mirror. She then starts talking to herself. After a few moments, Victoria acts as though the mirror said something she didn't like; Victoria grabs a chair and throws it into the mirror, shattering it. Victoria then walks off laughing.

Spike finds Nora at the airport. He tells her that he knows she doesn't love him, but he begs her to not leave with Michael. Nora tells him that Michael's plane left a few minutes ago; she just came to see him off. Spike is relieved to hear this and gives Nora a huge hug.

Helms approaches Christian, who was just starting to leave his locker room. Helms taunts Christian, asking him if he's going to win his match against his former friend by smashing him in the head with a chair. Before Christian can answer, Helms tells him to not get his hopes up. Helms says that Shane has made him the special enforcer in this match, meaning that Helms will be out there to make sure Christian either wins or loses without the use of any foreign objects.

Cruiserweight Championship (Ref Rob Johnson; Ring Enforcer Shane Helms)
Cruiserweight Champion Christian vs. Matt Hardy
Helms comes to the ring first, followed by Matt and then Christian. Shane comes out and announces that Rob has the rest of the night off. Rob, looking confused, leaves the ring. Shane says that this leaves the position of referee open. Shane says he's found the perfect man to ref this match, a man who is guaranteed to be impartial. The ref is none other than Kurt Angle. Matt is shocked by this announcement, which allows Christian to roll him up from behind. Kurt slides in the ring and starts to make the count when he sees Christian using the tights. Helms hands Kurt a microphone. Kurt tells the audience that that is strike one for Christian; he says if a wrestler gets three strikes for cheating, he will get an out. Christian demands to know what that means, but Matt rolls him up from behind for two. Matt eventually Irish whips Christian into the corner and climbs up to start punching him. After the first punch, Kurt yanks Matt off of Christian and tells him that that's Matt's first strike. Christian eventually hits the Bad Religion, but Matt gets his foot on the rope. Christian picks Matt up, who then pokes Christian in the eyes. Kurt shouts out that that is Matt's second strike. Matt hits a Side Effect for two. Matt goes for the Twist of Fate, but Christian low blows him; Kurt announces that Christian has two strikes, and the next superstar to get a strike will be out! Christian slides out of the ring and grabs a chair, but Helms snatches it out of his hands. Christian swings at Helms, but Helms ducks and then tosses Christian in. Christian turns around and tries to grab Helms, but Matt rolls him up from behind. Kurt makes the count, but Christian grabs Kurt's hand to prevent him from counting to three. Christian gets up and gets in Kurt's face; Christian then turns around and kicks Matt right in the balls. Kurt shouts out that that's Christian's third strike and he is now out; before Christian has a chance to figure out what that means, Kurt grabs him and gives him an Olympic Slam. Kurt then drags Matt over on top of Christian and starts to make the count, but Helms grabs Matt's leg and pulls him off of Christian. Helms and Kurt get into a face-off which results in blows being exchanged. Kurt attempts to give Helms an Olympic Slam, but Helms counters it and lands on the ring apron. Helms then grabs Kurt and drops down, guillotining Kurt on the top rope. Helms then climbs to the top rope and gives Kurt a cross body block. While all this was going on, Matt slid out of the ring and grabbed a chair which he then used to hit Christian with. Helms tells Matt that that's his third strike and then Sugarsmacks the chair into Matt's head. Helms places Christian on top of Matt and makes the three count. Helms starts up to the back while Kurt gets to his feet, a pissed off look on his face. Christian, meanwhile, looks confused as he grabs his belt and starts back to the locker room.

Women's Champion Jazz, Rey Mysterio, & Trish Stratus vs. Jacqueline Moore, Sable, & Shawn Michaels
Jacqueline and Sable come to the ring accompanied by Theodore Long. When Jacqueline irish whips Trish into the ropes, Shawn grabs her by the hair and slams the back of the head into the mat. Sable attempts a Sable Bomb on Trish, but Rey does a springboard dropkick to Trish's back to knock Trish on top of Sable for a two count. Jazz comes in and gives Sable the Widow's Peak, but Theodore stops the count by pulling Sable out of the ring. Rey gives Theodore an around-the-turnbuckle 619. Shawn attempts to hit Rey with Sweet Chin Music, but winds up crotching himself on the top rope. Rey then gives him a springboard dropkick, knocking him to the outside, and follows it up with a 619. Jazz pins Sable with a powerslam.

Michael Lockwood approaches Spike Dudley in his locker room. Michael demands to know if Spike has told anybody who Michael was talking to last week. Spike says he hasn't, but he's planning on telling Nora Greenwald after their match later if Michael doesn't. Michael tells him he better not, to which Spike tells Michael that she has a right to know. He tells Michael that she's been calling him all week begging for a name, but Spike says he didn't have the heart to tell her over the phone. Spike tells Michael that if he doesn't tell Nora who he was talking to, Spike will be forced to. Michael threatens that if Spike tells Nora anything, Michael will fuck him up.

Cruiserweight Champion Christian makes his way to the ring and calls out Head Referee Rob Johnson. Christian says that Rob has a very important announcement to make. Rob takes the microphone and announces that last week, he made a grave error while calling last week's main event; Rob says that he had said Christian tapped out to Kurt Angle's ankle lock, while in actuality Christian had merely been attempting to get to the rope. It is apparent that Rob is saying all of this against his will. General Manager Shane McMahon out and announces that Christian isn't fooling anybody by bullying the referee into lying. Shane says that tonight Kurt will once again have the opportunity to force Christian to tap out as the two will be wrestling each other in the main event.

Trish Stratus approaches James Stone and Jamie Noble in the locker room. She says she's glad to see that the two cousins have worked things out and are now getting along. She tells them that their opponents will have Nidia in their corner and asks them if they would like her to come to the ring with them. Jamie starts to answer, but James interrupts him and tells Trish that they would be honored to have her in their corner.

Matt Hardy walks into Shane's office, prompting Shane to demand to know what the hell Matt is doing. Matt tells Shane that he thinks booking a match between Christian and Kurt is a stroke of genius, but there's one thing that Shane should have done instead. Matt tells Shane that Kurt has proven himself by defeating the Cruiserweight Champion just a few short weeks after joining Cruise, so Kurt should be rewarded with a Cruiserweight Title Shot. Shane says that he can't believe he's agreeing with Matt, but Matt does have a point. Shane tells Matt that as of now, Christian's match against Kurt will in fact be for the Cruiserweight Championship.

Match 2 (Ref Asia Reynolds)
James Stone & Jamie Noble vs. Shannon Moore & Tajiri
Tajiri comes to the ring by himself while Shannon comes out accompanied by Nidia; James and Jamie come out along with Trish Stratus. Jamie hits Tajiri with the Rednecker, but Nidia places Tajiri's foot on the rope. Trish starts chasing Nidia around the ring but gets clotheslined by Shannon, prompting Jamie to leaves James alone in the ring while Jamie takes Trish to the back. Shannon gives James a tombstone for two. James hits the Hit, but Nidia climbs on the ring apron to distract Nidia. Shannon gets up and gives James another tombstone, then climbs up top for the Shining Star. Asia, who is distracted by Nidia and Tajiri's argument, doesn't notice as Eddie Guerrero runs up and shoves Shannon into the center of the ring. Eddie then hits a frog splash and drags James over on top of Shannon. Asia turns around and makes the three count.

Rey is walking in the back when he's attacked from behind by Shawn. Shawn beats on Rey for a while before throwing him head first through a window. Shawn then walks into the room that Rey landed in and bends down where the camera can't see him. When Shawn stands back up, he is now holding Rey's mask.

Shane storms up to Shawn and tells Shawn that he has told him in the past he is not going to put up with backstage attacks, especially ones as serious as the one Shawn just committed. Shane says that the last time Shawn did this he got suspended, but it apparently didn't teach Shawn anything. Shane says that since suspension won't teach Shawn, Shane is left with one choice. He tells Shawn that he is fired.

In their locker room Jacqueline is frustrated with Sable. Jacqueline tells Sable that this is two weeks in a row she has caused their team to lose by getting her shoulders pinned to the mat. Theodore tries to intervene on Sable's behalf, but Jacqueline interrupts him. She tells Theodore that he's just making excuses for Sable, who is nothing but a stupid white bitch. She then tells Sable to get the hell out of her locker room, which Sable does.

Jason Cruz asks Shane Helms what his thoughts are going into his upcoming match against Matt. Helms says that he has fought Matt several times since Cruise began. Helms even points out that he joined Cruise because he got tired of seeing the way Matt was treating a friend of his. Helms says he doesn't think much of Matt as a person, but he thinks a hell of a lot about Matt as a wrestler. He says that both men have proven that they can beat each other, which means that there is only one thing you can expect when the two of them step into the ring with each other: one hell of a match.

Matt Hardy vs. Shane Helms
Matt goes for a Twist of Fate, which Helms counters into an attempt for the Nightmare on Helms Street, but Matt is able to escape it. Helms hits the Sugarsmack for two. Matt goes for the Free Verse, but Helms counters it into a crucifix for two. Helms climbs to the top rope for a flying cross body block, but Matt ducks and Helms finds nothing but mat. Matt hits a Side Effect for two. Matt goes for his patented second rope leg drop, but Helms rolls out of the way. Helms climbs to the top rope again, but Matt pulls his leg out from under him. Matt goes for a top rope superplex, but Helms fights out of it and to his feet. Helms then gives Matt a top rope chokeslam, but is too weak to immediately go for the cover.

Commercial

Footage during the commercial break shows Helms finally attempting a cover after the top rope chokeslam, but Matt was able to kick out. Helms hits another Sugarsmack for two. Helms tries for another chokeslam, but Matt counters it with a low blow that Rob misses. Matt attempts a Twist of Fate, but Helms shoves him into the ropes. He tries for a third Sugarsmack, but Matt ducks under it and uses Helms's own Nightmare on Helms Street on him for two. Matt goes for the Twist of Fate again, but this time it's Helms who counters with a Nightmare on Helms Street for two. Matt hits another Side Effect and climbs to the top rope. He leaps off with a flying cross body block, but Helms rolls through for the three count.

Steven Richards is in his locker room massaging Ivory's shoulders. Apparently Steven and Ivory have begun seeing each other in the past week.

Funaki attempts a Funaki Driver, but Michael flips over his shoulder and hits the Crashdown for the win.

As Crash is returning to the locker room, black and white footage of Nora and Spike appears on the big screen. Nora is asking Spike who Michael is seeing. Spike tells her that he thinks he should wait before telling her until after their match, but she insists that he tell her now. He agrees, and she asks who it is. Spike tells her that he doesn't know who it is; all he knows is what it is. Nora doesn't understand, and Spike tells her that the person Michael is now seeing is a guy. Michael gets embarassed and runs to the back as the black and white footage ends.

Commercial

Michael barges into Spike's locker room, where Nora is crying. Michael pounches on Spike as security rushes in; Michael gets in a punch or two before he's pulled off. Michael tells Spike that he'll never forgive for outing him to the entire world. Spike asks Michael what he's talking about as he only told Nora. Michael tells him that the whole world saw Spike on camera telling Nora that Michael is gay. As security drags Michael off, Spike says that there weren't any cameras in the room when he told Nora. Nora looks and finds a camera hidden between some things on a shelf. She looks at Spike, apparently disgusted that he publicly embarassed Michael by telling everybody he's gay, but Spike insists he didn't put the camera there.

Christian walks into Matt's locker room and demands to know why the hell Matt convinced Shane to make his match with Kurt a Cruiserweight Championship Match. Matt tells Christian that he only did it because he wanted Kurt to think he has a shot at the belt, only to see the belt snatched out of his grasp when Christian prooves himself to be the better man. Matt promises Christian that he will be at ringside to guarantee that Kurt doesn't have a chance of winning the belt. After Christian walks off, Matt grins from ear to ear.

Kurt Angle is being interviewed by Jason, who asks him what his thoughts are on Matt having convinced Shane to change Kurt's match against Christian into a Championship Match. Kurt admits that at first he was confused that Matt was sticking up for him, but now he realizes that Matt just wants Kurt to win the Championship so Kurt will be defending the Title against Matt at Vengeance. He says that that's fine with him, because while Matt was being selfish he was also correct; Kurt has beaten the Cruiserweight Champion once, and tonight he's going to do it again.

Security drags Michael to Shane's office. Shane reminds Michael that Shane is trying to cut down on all the violence in the locker rooms; he then tells Michael that the only reason he hasn't suspended him is because he can imagine how upset Michael must be to have been outted in such a way. Even still, Shane tells Michael that that doesn't give him the right to attack people in the locker room like a barbarian. As this point Commissioner Marissa Mazolla. She tells Shane that she found yet another hidden camera in the women's locker room. Somebody is hiding cameras in the Cruise locker room and video taping private conversations and moments.

Match 5 (Ref Asia Reynolds)
Ivory & Steven Richards vs. Nora Greenwald & Spike Dudley
Nora stays several feet behind Spike as they make their way to the ring. Spike hits his top rope double foot stomp for two. Steven goes for his Steven Kick, but Spike ducks and Steven crotches himself. Ivory goes for a DDT, but Nora counters it into an overhead suplex for two. Victoria comes out and rams Ivory headfirst into the steel steps. Steven gets distracted by this, allowing Spike to roll him up from behind for the pin. Nora immediately leaves the ring area, leaving Spike alone.

Steven, meanwhile, runs outside to check and see if Ivory is okay. Victoria tells Steven that she wants him back, no matter if he wants to get with her or not. She says that she wants to take on Ivory next week to prove that she loves Steven more than Ivory does.

Cruiserweight Champion Christian vs. Kurt Angle
Christian comes to the ring accompanied by Matt. Kurt gets Christian in the ankle lock early, but Christian trips Rob and then uses him to climb to the ropes. Kurt tries for an Olympic Slam, but Christian counters it into an Unprettier attempt; Kurt the counters this into six rolling suplexes for two. Christian hits his falling reverse backbreaker, now called the Bad Religion, for two. Christian climbs to the top rope. Kurt runs up and hits him with a belly to belly suplex off the top for two. Christian gets a falling reverse DDT for two. Christian attempts another Unprettier, but Kurt shoves him into Rob. Kurt hits an Olympic Slam and goes for the pin, but Rob is still down. Matt slides into the ring and hits Kurt with the Cruiserweight Championship. Matt then helps Christian to his feet and hits him with the Championship as well. Matt pulls Kurt on top of Christian and revives Rob. Rob makes a slow count, but Christian is able to get his shoulder up at two. Helms runs to the ring and attacks Matt, their brawl eventually winding up heading into the crowd. Kurt hits an Olympic Slam, but is too slow to go for the cover. He hits another German Suplex and then climbs to the top rope. He attempts a moonsault, but Christian rolls out of the way. Christian then rolls Kurt up and gets the three count with a hand full of tights.

Ivory & Trish Stratus vs. Jacqueline Moore & Sable
Jacqueline and Sable come to the ring accompanied by Theodore Long. Ivory and Trish have trouble getting along. All four women get in the ring at one time. Jacqueline climbs to the top rope as Sable attempts a Sable Bomb on Trish. Jacqueline gives Ivory the Mankilla, causing Ivory to fall backwards into Sable and Trish. This causes Sable to fall backward with Trish on top, resulting in the three count. After the match, Jacqueline and Sable get into an argument with Theodore trying to seperate them.

Spike Dudley approached Michael Lockwood and once again asks him why he refuses to communicate with Nora Greenwald. Michael tells Spike it's none of his business. Spike tells Michael that he has a hot girl in love with him, yet he won't even look at her. Spike tells him that there must be something wrong with Michael and then walks off.

Shawn Michaels comes down to the ring and announced that General Manager Shane McMahon has lifted his suspension to that Shawn can wrestle Rey Mysterio at Vengeance in a ladder match. He says that while they're making plans about what he's going to do, nobody has ever once asked him his opinion. He says that he can't believe that Shane would actually book him in a match against a midgit at a ppv. He says that everybody likes Rey, so nobody will want to buy Vengeance and see him end Rey's career. Shawn then says that Rey might not even make it to Vengeance after the six man tag team main event tonight. As Shawn is talking Rey comes out of the crowd and climbs on the ring apron. He bounces on the top rope and dropkicks Shawn from behind, sending him flying out of the ring. Shawn tries to climb back in, but Rey attempts to 619 him. Shawn dodges and then returns to the locker room.

Jason Cruz is interviewing Kurt Angle in the back. Kurt says that he heard what Matt Hardy said last week, and it's all bullshit. Kurt said he didn't come to Cruise because the Cruiserweights are pushovers; he says that he came because they're the real talent. He then says that Matt is just jealous because Kurt proved himself Matt's better on Smackdown, and now he's going to once again prove himself better on Cruise.

Jacqueline and Sable are still bickering when Theodore silences them. He tells them that what happened was just bad luck and that they can't let it divide them. He says they'll never win the war against the Man if they continue fighting amongst themselves.

Funaki vs. James Stone vs. Steven Richards
James goes for the Hit on Funaki, but winds up getting Steven Kicked. Funaki attempts a piledriver, but Steven counters it into a backdrop; Funaki counters this into a sunset flip attempt, but Steven drops down on Funaki's chest and gets the three count.

Ivory approaches Trish in the locker room. She apologizes to Trish for having cost her the Women's Championship at Judgment Day. She tells Trish that she was just jealous of Trish's success and made a bad decision that she now wishes she could take back. Trish says she's glad to hear Ivory regrets what happened, but she isn't sure if she's willing to forgive her. Ivory says that's fair and thanks Trish for at least hearing her out.

Commercial

Commissioner Marissa Mazolla approaches Ivory in the locker room and apologizes to her for firing her last week. She tells Ivory she doesn't feel like she can trust Shane at the moment, and when she saw Ivory giving Shane a hug she feared the worst. Ivory accepts her apology and tells Marissa that she doesn't have to worry about Shane; Shane realizes what he did is wrong and he's going to do everything in his power to make it up to her.

Matt and Cruiserweight Champion Christian are in their locker room complaining about Kurt's return. Christian tells Matt that he'll have a chance in the main event to prove that he is better than Kurt by pinning the Olympic Champion's shoulders down in the center of the ring.

Marissa goes into Sable's locker room and asks Sable if she can think of any reason why she shouldn't fire Sable. Before Sable can respond, Theodore gets in Marissa's face and tells Sable that if he has talked to Shane; if Marissa fires Sable, Shane will just turn around and give her her job back. Marissa doesn't believe Theodore, who tells her to go ask Shane if it's true. Marissa tells Theodore that if he's lying to her, he can kiss his job goodbye as well.

Women's Champion Jazz goes to Steven and congratulates him on his win. She also thanks him for being there for her at Bad Blood. He says that any time she needs help he's there for her, prompting the two of them to hug.

Marissa barges into Shane's locker room and asks him if he told Theodore he would hire Sable back if Marissa fired her. Shane confirms that Theodore wasn't lying. Marissa demands to know who the hell Shane thinks he is going above her head like this and tells him if he doesn't like the way she's handling the Women's Division, she can always quit and they can get divorced. Shane tells her that he thinks she's handling things fine, but reminds her that she doesn't have a reason to get rid of Sable. He tells her that once again she's letting her heart get in the way of business and she can't do that. He then tells her that Theodore threatened to sue if Sable were fired without a good reason. He tells her that as much as he hates it, they need a good reason before they can get rid of Sable.

Spike goes for the Dudley Dog, but Michael shoves him into the turnbuckle. Michael goes for a superplex, but Spike shoves him off and follows up with a double foot stomp for two. Michael attempts a Crashdown, but Spike rolls him up for a close two. Spike attempts another Dudley Dog, but Michael again counters it, this time by shoving Spike so that he crotches himself on the top rope. Michael then climbs to the top rope and leaps off, clotheslining the straddled Spike; the move sends both men to the outside of the ring.

Michael hits a cross body block for two. Spike attempts Nora's Molly-Go-Round, but Michael ducks under it and then hits a Crashdown for three.

Victoria knocks on Steven's locker room door and asks him how he's doing. Steven immediately demands to know what she's doing there. Victoria tells him that she wants to make up. Steven tells her that he has no desire to be with her any more. Victoria asks him if it's because of Jazz. He tells her no, he and Jazz are just friends; he just doesn't want to be with Victoria any longer because she's a traitorous bitch.

Shane Helms walks into Shane's locker room. Shane tells Helms he's glad he finally arrived, because Shane has an important announcement to make. Shane says that because Christian didn't actually beat Helms himself for the Cruiserweight title, Helms will get himself a rematch against Christian next month at Vengeance.

Match 4 (Ref Ted Trevorte)
Eddie Guerrero & Jamie Noble vs. Shannon Moore & Tajiri
Eddie hits Shannon with a brainbuster, but Tajiri makes the save. Jamie hits a Rednecker, but again Tajiri makes the save. Tajiri comes in and spits mist in Eddie's eyes. Tajiri gives Jamie a handspring elbow for two. Tajiri hits Jamie with the Buzzkill and goes for the cover, but Eddie stops it by Frog Splashing both men. Nidia comes to the ring as Ted counts both Jamie and Tajiri down on the mat. Both men eventually make the tag. When Tajiri gets up, he goes over to Nidia and starts ordering her to leave. This distracts Eddie, which allows Shannon to roll him up from behind for the win.

Winners: Shannon Moore & Tajiri

Victoria walks into Jazz's locker room and demands that the two of them go to the ring and have a fight. Jazz smiles and tells Victoria she'd be more than happy to wipe the mat with Victoria's ugly mug.

Jason interviews Helms. Helms says he's glad to see that Shane is doing the right thing by giving him a rematch for his title at Vengeance. He says that at first he was against the way Shane was running the company, but now Shane is prooving that he really wants to run the company the best way he can. He tells Christian that he better be prepared for Vengeance.

Match 5 (Ref Asia Reynolds)
Women's Champion Jazz vs. Victoria
Once both women are in the ring Marissa comes to ringside and interrupts them. She said she has booked a bizarre new match for the Women's Championship at Vengeance. She says the day of the event, there will be a drawing that will pair off all eight women into four teams. She says those four teams with wrestle in a four corner elimination match. She said that once each woman's partner has been eliminated, that woman will have to wrestle until she is eliminated without the ability to tag out of the match. She says that the fight will continue until there are only two women remaining. She says it's possible it will be two women from opposing teams against each other, or it could be the tag partners. Whatever the case, those two women will continue to wrestle until one wins and is declared the undisputed Women's Champion. The match then officially begins with Victoria hitting Jazz from behind. Jazz comes back and wins with the Widow's Peak.

Winner: Jazz

After the match Jacqueline and Sable storm the ring accompanied by Theodore and beat down on Jazz. Jacqueline and Sable then raise the Women's Championship belt in the air together.

Jamie Noble walks up to Trish and thanks him for everything he's done for her. He thanks her for coming to her defense last week against Christian. She tells him that he's thanked her several times for that and doesn't have to any more, but he points out how she risked getting hurt by going against a psycho like Christian. He again thanks her and walks off. Trish looks a bit disturbed by Jamie's visit.

Nidia approaches Shannon in the back and tells him she saw how he pinned Eddie in the center of the ring. Nidia points out that she's been having some problems with Eddie lately and is looking for a man to step up and fight for her honor. She says now that Shane has turned his back on Shannon and Shannon is all alone, maybe he'd like to have Nidia's services...provided he does something for her. Shannon asks Nidia what she'll do for him if he takes out Eddie, to which Nidia responds by saying she'll do anything at all for him.

Spike approaches Michael from behind when Michael is talking on a cell phone. Spike hears Michael use the terms "baby" and "sweety." He starts to walk away until he hears Michael say "no, Nora and I are through for good." Spike then walks over and snatches the phone out of Michael's hand and asks the caller who the hell she thinks she is coming between Michael and Nora like that. Michael snatches the phone out of Spike's hands, but not before Spike heard who was on the other line. Michael says into the phone, "tell me you didn't say anything while that little runt had the phone...oh, shit."

Jason is now interviewing Christian. Christian tells Jason that it's bogus that Shane is giving Helms a rematch. Christian says that Shane claims Helms didn't actually lose the title, but the rules of a triple threat match are simple: if you aren't the guy who gets the victory, you lose. Christian says Helms lost the title fair and square, and now Shane is just trying to screw him out of the title by giving him a rematch. Christian says it won't work; he beats Helms last week at Bad Blood, and he says he can do it again next month at Vengeance.

Helms and Rey enter Kurt's locker room and welcomes him to Cruise. He then asks them if they're ready for their big match, which they all agree that they are. Kurt responds by saying "then let's get down to the ring and kick some butt!"

Cruiserweight Champion Christian, Matt Hardy, & Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, & Shane Helms
The heels all play the usual heel routine; Christian tags out when Helms gets tagged in, Matt tags out when Kurt comes in, and Shawn tags out when Rey comes in. Helms and Shawn wind up hitting each other with their patended superkicks. Kurt comes in and hits Christian with an Olympic Slam, but Matt makes the save. Matt gives Kurt a Side Effect, but Christian is unable to make the cover. Rey gives Shawn, who is on the arena floor, a 619. Matt gives Rey a Twist of Fate. Helms chokeslams Matt over the top rope. Christian gives Helms an Unprettier. Christian then turns around into another Olympic Slam. Kurt then gives Christian the ankle lock, forcing Christian to tap out.

Halfway into the match Nora comes to ringside. Michael attempts a Crashdown, but Spike counters it into a rollup for two. Spike hits the Dudley Dog, but Michael is able to get a shoulder up. Spike attempts another Dudley Dog, but Michael shoves him off into Ted. Spike climbs to the top rope and leaps off, planting both feet into Michael's chest. Spike goes for the pin, but Rob is still down. Nora climbs on the top rope as Spike gets to his feet. Spike turns around right into a Molly-Go-Round. Michael, who sees Nora's actions, slides out of the ring and returns to the locker room with Nora following close behind asking him what he's doing. Ted eventually wakes up and counts Michael out.

Winner: Spike Dudley via countout

Nora finally stops Michael in the back, asking him why the hell he just forfeited his match. Michael tells her that he didn't ask General Manager Shane McMahon to book a match for Bad Blood so Michael could cheat to earn a victory; he did it because he wanted to prove himself in a high-profile win. Nora apologizes and tells Michael that she was only trying to help, which prompts Michael to tell her he doesn't want her help. He tells her that he had a chance to show the world what he's made of, but she ruined that by getting involved. He tells her to quit ruining his career and to stay out of his life.

Jamie comes to the ring accompanied by Trish. Jamie goes for the Rednecker, but Shannon is able to counter it with a headscissors. Shannon hits a tombstone for two. Shannon gives Jamie his own Rednecker, then climbs to the top rope for the Shining Star; Jamie rolls out of the way, and Shannon finds nothing but mat. Jamie then attempts to give Shannon the Trailer Hitch, but Shannon is too close to the rope. Jamie eventually earns the three count with the Stratusfaction. After the match Jamie and Trish celebrate in the ring with a hug.

Winner: Jamie Noble

Michael barges into Commissioner Marissa Mazollas office. Marissa, who was on the phone, hangs up and demands to know what the hell Michael is doing barging into her office uninvited. Michael apologizes, but tells her that he's so frustrated with Nora that he can't see straight. He tells her that she's practically been stalking him in the last few weeks, and he wanted to come to Marissa to see what she can do about it. Marissa promises that she'll talk to Nora about it before the night is through.

Sable comes to the ring accompanied by Jacqueline and Theodore. Jazz follows up accompanied by Ivory and Steven Richards. Jacqueline and Theodore get involved several times in the match. Sable attempts a Sable Bomb, but Jazz counters it by backdropping Sable over the top rope onto Jacqueline. Jazz hits a powerslam for two. Jazz sets Sable up for the Widow's Peak, prompting Theodore to climb on the ring apron. Steven pulls Theodore off the ring apron and slugs him. Jacqueline hits Steven from behind, a move that hardly does any damage to him. Ivory then grabs Jacqueline and throws her into the steal chairs. Jazz hits the Widow's Peak to win.

New Women's Champion: Jazz

Marissa approaches Nora in the back and tells her that they have a problem. Marissa tells Nora that she has received a complaint from Michael, who wishes for Nora to leave him alone. Marissa tells Nora that if she doesn't quit interfering in Michael's business, she will have no choice but to release Nora.

Jazz, Ivory, and Steven celebrate Jazz's victory in the locker room.

Spike approaches Michael in the back and tells him that he heard he went to Marissa to keep Nora out of his hair. Spike demands to know what the hell Michael's problem is. Michael points out that Nora attacked him in the match, and asks if he's so whipped that he's willing to forget that. Spike tells Michael he needs to pull his head out of his ass, because he's got a great girl in love with him but he won't accept her. Michael tells Spike to mind his own business. Spike calls him an asshole and leaves.

Helms and Rey double team Christian for a while. Rey hits Christian with the 619. Helms hits Christian with a chokeslam, but the cover is stopped by Rey. Helms hits Rey with a Sugarsmack for two. Christian slides to the outside and grabs a chair, which Rey then 619s into Christian's forehead. Rey hits Helms with the West Coast Pop for two. Christian hits Rey with a falling reverse DDT for two. Helms hits both men with a flying cross body block from the top rope for two. Rey hits Helms with the Enigma, but Christian makes the save. Christian hits Helms with a falling reverse DDT into a backbreaker for two. Helms attempts to give Christian a Nightmare on Helms Street, but Rey stops it with a springboard dropkick that sends Helms to the outside. Rey tries for a West Coast Pop on Christian, but Christian ducks under it; Rey lands on his feet, but he gets distracted by Shawn Michaels, who has arrived at ringside. Christian then hits Rey with the Unprettier for the three count.
