This Monday! Yup, even though everyone is at Paradise, Bumbershoot or Burning Man, I'll be sitting at Charlie's hoping that some loyal, brilliant, wonderful women will show up to keep me company. ;-)
It's been a while since I posted details about the Women's Welcoming Committee meetings, so here goes:
The WWC is a support and informational group for women who are new to kink, or new to the Seattle kink community. We are run by women, for women.
Attendance is open to women only. By this we mean, you must be living as a woman in your daily life in order for us to welcome you.
We meet every first Monday of the month at Charlie's on Broadway: 217 Broadway East, on Seattle's Capitol Hill, from 7pm to 9pm (but some of us show up a bit early just to hang out. Look for us at the big table in the front room under the stained-glass lighting fixture shaped like a star on the ceiling. ;-)
The WWC is informal, irreverent, irascible, illuminating, intelligent, and independent. We laugh a LOT. We talk about all kinds of things, from serious to silly, on topic and Waaaaaaaaay off topic. We have a great time. ;-)
We discuss recent and upcoming kinky events, as well as culture and vocabulary specific to the BDSM community. A lot of our attendees are poly (polyamorus) so that comes up frequently, too. All relationship styles are welcome, as are all orientations. Sometimes we bring things for show and tell. Bring your questions for the group, or just sit and listen.
