What a fun place this is! And we've met only a few characters in it so far- there's so much yet to explore! I do love a good adventure, and with Onuma at the helm, things are bound to be exciting. Wonder what the shape the story will turn out to be. :D

Because I don't know what the hell else to do with this. Incidentally, when Stephen King says "Kill your darlings"? He is definitely talking about stuff like this chapter, and the one following.

It's a good thing I'm not writing, and my audience is so infinitely forgiving of my digressions. ;D

On a more relevant note, I suppose this would fit in to FC Episode 1, after Onuma is introduced. Unless the shelf life on this thing that's meant to happen at the end is too short, then I might move it up to Episode 2, anywhere prior to Chapter 19. Clear as mud? Super.

Oh, and in case it isn't clear, I've been kicking this story out on two timelines. For no other reasons than it's really huge in my head, and it was waaaay too boring to do it straight from beginning to end. So we have Fox Country, which is the beginning of everything, and then Episode 2 Fox Country, which picks up somewhere around the halfway point and goes on. When I get sick of one, I go tinker on the other. Sometimes within the space of ten or fifteen minutes, because my attention span is so ridiculously short.

Also, please blame this entire situation on pandoraculpa. She started it, it's all her fault. ; )

(No really, look! She wrote that whole first chapter! It all goes downhill from there.)

I don't even know what to say anymore. Everytime I turn around, there's more backstory to this damn thing. And then backstory-behind-the-backstory. I thought this was about a fox, or something. But apparently Mori has other ideas.

Now for those of you just tuning in, Fox Country is basically a crack fairytale-ish AU involving characters from "Ouran Host Club": Mori and eventually, Arai. The story kinda emerged last summer (fall? I forget) out of some classic WTF text frenzies, and once in awhile we drag it out and kick it around some. I'll get those text frenzies loaded up here at some point.
