Well, hello, there!


Hello! This journal is now Semi-Friends Only! All fandom related stuff is unlocked (and you can find a list of my fanfiction and original fiction here) but real life stuff isn't.

Unfortunately, I no longer automatically friend back anymore. I'd like to have something in common with the people I friend. However, if you do think we'd get along and want to read my RL complaining ramblings, feel free to add me/ drop me a comment. I'm really friendly! :)

01. I think it's time for a friends-cut. It seems like the right time because it's the New Year and all that. If we haven't talked to each other in the last six months but you want to stay, just let me know :) And mistakes do happen so if, when the cut does happen, you think I've removed you accidently, just let me know!

02. I wanted to let people know that I also have a Dreamwidth account. Since LJ has been less than friendly to us lately and I know a lot of people are frequenting there instead now. It's just a mirror of my LJ currently, but I am writing2death over there as well :)

Notes: Written for the lovely magi, because she was having an awful time with exam stress and the like and asked for fluff and kissing. I did my best to deliver. Title is from this quote: Learning is acquired by reading books, but the much more necessary learning, the knowledge of the world, is only to be acquired by reading men, and studying all the various facets of them - Lord Chesterfield. Thanks to peasnbeanstalks for giving this a once-over to make sure there aren't any glaring errors.

Also: why am I always late about these things?

I'm at writing2death and fandoms in the immediate queue include Merlin and Criminal Minds. I wouldn't rule out other fandoms, though. Especially if series two of Sherlock is as wonderful as series one.

So. I've mostly spent my day beta-ing.

While I've been doing that peasnbeanstalks and I have been slowly making our way through the end of Criminal Minds S2 and the beginning of S3.

The elevator scene with Morgana (ETA: and wouldn't that be the strangest crossover ever? I meant Morgan, obviously. I've been writing too much Merlin fic...) and Reid? You know the one I'm talking about.

It was her first time seeing this scene. What she says (to Hotch):

"He just screamed your name in an elevator! The least you can do is hold him for a while!"
