Very rarely do I attempt to write with canon Valdemar characters. In fact, I can count the number of times on the fingers of one hand. But for some reason, I randomly felt like writing about Tylendel and Staven... I think it was about a year and a half ago, now, actually. ^_^;

Title: Worlds Collide

Sumary: Jaelle is an everyday sort of person, until she finds herself with a yard full of dimensionally displaced Heralds and Companions. The remedying of that sees her stranded in Valdemar with no way to get home. But Jaelle is in Valdemar, a place we'd all love to visit, so it can't be all bad, can it? Except... something is terribly wrong; the canon is twisted-- different-- and if Jaelle doesn't figure out just what has happened, and how to fix it, there may not be a Valdemar anymore.

Additional: This fanfiction is most definitely an Alternate Universe 'fic, and is complete at eighteen chapters.

Worlds Collide

Squee-age: Seriously. Read this. It's one of the rare examples of a brilliant use of AU-- and I promise that, when the author finally reveals the 'one small difference in the past' that skewed her story so far from canon, you won't be disappointed. It's very well written, Jaelle is a highly believable character (and I'm not just saying that because the whole thing is first person, and I'm a sucker for first person), and is a thoroughly satisfying read.

My first completed Songfic in a long while... I wrote this back in November of 2003 (when I was supposed to be working on the NaNo, of course), and it was followed by about eight other songfics. Wonderful Journey is a little rough compared to my later songfics, but I still love it. ^^ Probably because it reminds me of the Thanks For All The Fish RPG...

Mirrors was written way back in November of 2003... shortly after I started writing decently, actually. ^^ I still like this one, though I never did get around to finishing the sequel ("Reflections"). Anyway! The first of many fics by me that need a decent home, thanks to Ye Olde Pit of Voles.
