So it's less than ten days out...

Are you worried about what to pack? About meeting people? About where to find stuff? About recognizing people when they don't have an icon and username? Or will they have a user name?

If so, come out to a pre-Convention chat! I'll be hosting two of them:

Wednesday July 22 11-1am E.S.T. Eastern Daylight Time
Or
Tuesday July 28th, 9-11 E.D.T. (because I fly out the next morning!)

I'll post the link the day of the chat, but if you think this is a good idea, please comment. (I need to stock up on virtual tea for all)

As a disclaimer, we had these chats before the first WC and I pre-met some amazing people who (with whom) I ended up hanging out with all weekend!

Alrighty, folks. We're less than three weeks to con, and it's time for everyone's anxieties to get up and dance :-) Mine are certainly doing tangoes in my subconscious.

But I had an idea -- we'll get those chat sessions scheduled, to help with meeting and greeting, but in the meantime, I've got a request for everybody for comments to this thread:

1. I'd like to invite the return attendees (I think there are maybe 90-100 of you altogether) to give us your favorite non-panel/workshop memory from 2004.

2. All of you guys who are new to Writercon, I'd *love* it if you'd either ask a question you've been silently obsessing over or perhaps tell us what you're looking forward to the most.
