Trippy adventures in WoW = cool story?
Last night, my night elf druid Kandrae (pictured here with a super-cute hat) became stuck somewhere in the game world, as she was getting off the boat from Darnassus to the Wetlands. She sort of disappeared (like she fell through the world), the graphics went all crazy, and I couldn't move her or do anything with her, though the mini map in the corner made it look like she was floating through other lands. She died, somehow, and her body ended up in Mulgore! Even the "unstuck" feature didn't work. So I paged a GM, went to bed, and this morning she was safely back on dry land at the graveyard in the Wetlands, not dead. It's still a little iffy doing anything with her that requires any kind of "warping," so to speak - she almost bugged out again this morning when I landed her gryphon in Stormwind. As irritating as that was, I'm now inspired to write a story about her travels through the space-time continuum. For role-playing purposes, she's a teenager, abandoned at birth by her mother, who was raised by the Cenarion druids because her father was in the Emerald Dream when she was born. Maybe she could be like that guy on that show, "Journeyman," and use her time travels to discover her past. Oooooh. ;-)
