Hello everyone! My name in Angelica, and I'm one of the co-mods at Arcana. We're a new game, but already have over thirty characters cast. Everyone is really excited, and it looks to be an active, fun game.

I'm here today because we are in desperate need of someone to play Peter Pettigrew. I figured where better to look for folks than a community dedicated to him? We have some great stuff to do with Peter since he can get information so easily, so we're rather distressed that nobody has applied for him yet! We'd love to find someone who really brings him to life and gives him some depth.

Hello? *echo, echo* Where is everyone? I just joined the community and thought I would try to get some people talking... I mean we're all here for one reason, right? We all love Peter.

I personally have found that there are very few Harry Potter fans who dont outright hate Peter and even fewer who love him... it's sad that so few care for his character the way I do. It was a bit sad the way I came to love Peter... a friend and I were working on a fanfic about the Marauders' time at Hogwarts, and I was put in charge of Peter's character... the problem was, I hadn't given his character much thought before that... I had just sort of taken the character at face value.

But the more I looked into his character, and the more I received negative reactions from others in the HP fandom, the more determined I became to get to the bottom of Peter's character, and the more I thought about Peter, the more I grew to love him.

And I'm not going to say anything to give away Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince for those who haven't read it yet (what exactly are you waiting for? The apocalypse?) but I really hate what J.K. does with Peter... he deserves better treatment...
