Mirai Hatohara (鳩原 未来, Hatohara Mirai ?) is a former A-rank sniper, and former member of Ninomiya Squad. She is currently Missing in Action after she, along with at least Three Collaborators (one of which, may be Rinji Amatori) went through an unknown gate and disappeared.
Appearance

Hatohara is a young woman with chin-length messy black hair and black eyes with white pupils. She also has freckles under her eyes and on the bridge of her nose. She has been seen wearing a light-colored t-shirt under a jacket. Ninomiya described her as a dull woman with a fake smile.[8]
When in combat, she wears her unit's uniform, a black full-body suit, including a black vest, a grey necktie and grey Loafers, giving her an androgynous appearance.[9]
Personality
[edit | edit source]Not much is known about Hatohara's personality. Ninomiya considered her as an idiot, being unable to orchestrate a plan such as what happened on the day she disappeared.[2] Ema, on the other hand, spoke of her fondly, stating she would never shoot a person; but was an expert at disarming them.[10] She seemingly considered herself useless.[1]

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- The name"Mirai" (未来 ?) means "future". "Hatohara" (鳩原 ?) is made up of the characters "pigeon", and "field".
- She likes children, pears, and miso soup with shijimi clams.[4][5]
- Utagawa was the person that she shot by accident during a Rank Wars session.[11]
- It was likely common for her to do rank wars commentary, with Tōma or as a set with part of Ninomiya Squad. [12]

- Hatohara's Japanese Voice Actress is Ai Maeda who also voices Kasumi Mikumo. Some of Ai Maeda's notable voice acting roles include Mimi Tachikawa from Digimon Adventure, O-Ren Ishii from Kill Bill: Volume 1, and Karen Minazuki / Cure Aqua from Yes! PreCure 5.
- Hatohara's English Voice Actress is Carol Anne Day who also voices Kyōko Sawamura in Season 1. Some of Carol Anne Day's notable voice acting roles include Misaki Tokura from Cardfight!! Vanguard, Menchi from Hunter x Hunter (1999), Four Murasame from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, and Yanagi Sakoshita from Flame of Recca.

A: She involuntary shot Utagawa while he was using Chameleon. After that, she practiced so she could snipe while also paying attention to the Radar.
