Three bullies from Osamu and Yūma's school, who are collectively known as 3 Idiots (３バカ, 3 Baka ?) aka the Idiot Trio. In the manga, their names are not given and are referred to as No.1, No.2, and No.3. In their anime design sheet, the studio gave them the surnames: Eida (栄田 ?), Bitō (備藤 ?), and Shīhara (椎原 ?).
They all appeared in the first chapter and first episode.
Personality
[edit | edit source]Being bullies, all 3 of them have been shown to be mean, but nothing else is of much notice.
History
[edit | edit source]The group is first seen bullying an unnamed student by tossing his pencil case around[1], and later attempts to bully Yūma during class by throwing paper balls at his head[2], only to end up humiliated themselves.[3] After class, they bring Yūma and Osamu into the Forbidden Zone and beat up Osamu [4]. They attempt to do the same to Yūma[5], and are interrupted by a Bamster comes out of a gate to attack them.[6] However, Osamu [7] and later Yūma[8], save them. The trio are later taken into Border's "protection" and have their memories of the event wiped.[9] In the anime, it is Narasaka who finds them and takes them in for protection.[10]
The next day, they attempt to extort money out of other students for using the roof without their permission[11], but are scared off by Yūma.[12] After the Marmod attack, they are frightened at the idea of Osamu being a Border agent.[13]
When Osamu goes back to school, the trio are seen in the background sneaking off.
Trivia
[edit | edit source]- No. 1 (Eida the redhead) is "Ringleader" of the group. He is the worst of all the delinquents but Ashihara wishes to improve his danger detection skills so he could survive.[14]
- His Japanese voice actor, Mitsuo Iwata, also voices Isami Tōma.
- His English voice actor, Bill Newton, also voices Isami Tōma, and Kōtarō Suwa.
- No. 2 (Bitō, brown hair) is "The Annoying One", The author doesn't exactly hate him however he finds him easy to draw.[14]
- His Japanese voice actor, Hiroaki Miura, also voices Ryō Utagawa.
- No. 3 (Shīhara, dyed hair) is "Roots Showing". According to Volume 1, his delinquency is his hobby. He has good grades, and his family is quite rich.[14]
- His Japanese voice actor, Kōta Nemoto, also voices Ken Satori, while his English voice actor, Daegan Manns, also voices Reiji Kizaki.
