I just received the same error: “Received error from server (code=500) – see console”
I opened the Console. (I am using the Brave browser.)The following Console errors are seen:

I followed the approach which came back to me from the old memory of doing this a few years ago..
Web host cpanel:
Added the (sub) domain. Document root I set to the multisite: public_html.Web site multisite:
I then went into the subsite multisite panel. Clicked Edit. Went into settings and set the siteurl and home from http to https.
That did it.
Hopefully others whom have forgot the process will come over this thread.Aha. Well I am forgetting the process of how to setup a subsite.
I went ahead and made the subdomain through the Web Host: https://coperformancetest.coinno.com/Yes the author replied here: https://github.com/duracelltomi/gtm4wp/issues/382

That worked!Another of my sites fell down. Giving this fatal error:

I was able to get the site backup again quickly by adding the code to both the files you mentioned.
I too suddenly had a fatal error on one of my sites. I had to rename the plugin folder through the hosts File manager. I was then able to login and then renamed the plugin folder back again to its original name. When I tried to activate the plugin it said “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
I added the code but was still not able to activate the plugin. I am thinking because of caching.

Det jeg fant ut etter å ha “grumbled” lite er at jeg måtte se nøye etter i Gruppe blokkene som er rundt Content blokken i Pages template. Det er to Gruppe blokker rundt Content. Den øverste – Top parent Gruppe blokken har masse marg og det kan endres slik at det blir mindre avstand mellom content og menyen.Hei @iverok
