Word of the day: Dastard

When my mom walks, often her hand ends up behind her, sort of curled around like she's grabbing her own butt cheek... that's kind of annoying. And funny.

Yeah. I was reading this story. This really good, really long story. Then this NOISE, sort of like metal clicking or something, came from what might be the kitchen. Throws me completely out of whack. Breaks off the feeling that that story was creating in me. I kept reading, but later decided to go find out what was causing it. I don't think I found the cause, but the oven was still on Bake. Heh. I think I've read all the good Angel fan fiction I'm going to find. That sucks, because I still want more.

Slightly more important, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH MY TIME? Not even albino blacksheep interests me... What am I going to do?

In many stories I read, Spike is referred to as Angel's 'Wayward childe'. I have two questions about that. First of all: 'Childe'? What is with that?

Where/when does it say, anywhere in the Jossverse, that that word is used for a vampire's ... er ... progeny?

That wasn't really the question, so much as: what is with the 'e' at the end? Has anyone in the Jossverse ever said that it's spelled that way? It's so... melodramatic. That could drive me nuts if I bothered to think about it.

And 2: 'wayward'? As far as I know, Angel hasn't even admitted aloud to being Spike's sire, much less having an intended path for him, which would be required for Spike to lose his way.

Ah, expressing my feelings in a way that I can imagine someone reads and acknowledges feels good. I wonder how long it'll be until I find a story with some actual plot?
