Prompt 15 - Beach

@wolfstarmicrofic August 15, word count 369

Previous part First part

The inside of Sirius’s home wasn’t what Remus had imagined at all. The hallway was a warm, welcoming yellow, with small white picture frames encasing dried flowers dotted along the wall. The living room felt warm and cosy, with a crochet blanket over the sofa and both armchairs, stacks of books on the coffee table and a series of pictures of Sirius, James, Peter and who he assumed were Mr and Mrs Potter on the wall above the fireplace; the biggest being one of him, James and Mr and Mrs Potter lazing about on the beach, each with sand mermaid tails and their heads thrown back in laughter. It was beautiful.

The kitchen was spotless. Obsessively so. It was so clean that Remus could see his reflection in the floor tiles.

“Tea? Coffee?” Sirius asked, back to wringing his hands.

“Tea, please,” Remus said, smiling a soft smile at him. Sirius nodded and turned to busy himself at the kettle.

Remus wandered over to the back door and looked out onto the beautifully manicured garden.

“You have a pool?!”

“Erm, yeah. It came with the house, though,” Sirius said, sounding a bit self-conscious.

Remus spun round with his hands on his hips, his eyes narrowed.

“You had a pool this entire time and kept it from me?”

“Pete’s got a hot tub.”

“Oh, my Gods! And let me guess, James has a fire pit where you roast marshmallows and reminisce about the good old times?”

“Erm, actually, yes.”

Remus started laughing. This was too much. How was he hanging out with people who not only had gardens in London, but ones big enough to house swimming pools?!

“I literally have a washing-up tub that I put cold water in when the flat gets too hot, and I need to soak my feet to cool off,” Remus told him.

“Well, now you can come over and relax in the pool,” Sirius said hopefully.

Remus shook his head, rolled his eyes, then moved to Sirius’s side and hugged him tightly.

“I might never leave,” he warned.

Sirius turned in his arms and tilted his head until he could see directly into Remus’s eyes, his body shaking slightly with nerves.

“Then don’t.”

Propmt 14 - Fan

@wolfstarmicrofic August 14, word count 211

Previous part First part

Sirius’s palms were sweating. He was sure Remus could feel how clammy they had become. They were almost at his house now, just a few more houses to go, and then he’d be inviting Remus inside. Gods, he was sweating. He needed a fan like right now!

“Why are you so nervous?” Remus asked, squeezing his wet hand. “Are you a secret hoarder or something?”

“What? No! It’s just, I’ve never had anyone but James, Peter and James’s parents over.”

Remus dropped his hand and hugged him, and suddenly Sirius felt so much better. With a new spring in his step, he wiped his hands on his jeans, took Remus’s hand again and all but dragged him to his front door.

“Aww, look, he’s bringing his boyfriend home!” James shouted from his living room window.

“We’re so proud!” Peter called from his kitchen window, gently dabbing his eyes with his handkerchief.

“Oi, oi, lover boys! Keep those windows closed; we do not need to hear Remus’s screams of pleasure this fine afternoon!” Lily bellowed from her bedroom window.

“I hate the lot of you!” Sirius shouted at them, stomping his foot like a petulant child and slamming the front door on their laughter as soon as he and Remus were inside.

Pool

@wolfstarmicrofic - 290 words

There is a pool of something unspeakable on the floor. It smells bad, and Remus doesn't even want to think about it, he hopes to leave this place behind soon enough not to worry about it anyway. If he can make it.

Easier said then done though, if Sirius is nowhere to be seen. Only a quiet, deep snarl in the darkest corner under the sorry excuse for a bed finally tips him off. “Come her, Padfoot,” he lures the dark beast gently, and is horrified, when he gets a first look. It's skinny, the hair is falling out in big clumps and the ribs poke through. The head hangs low and the paws move like they were made from lead.

Still, it has enough strength to be hostile, showing blackened teeth and lowering, ready to pounce. He should have come sooner. He shouldn't have waited at all.

“Come, Padfoot, we're going home.” As far as such a place exists, after years of hostility and betrayal of what they meant to each other.

Still. He has to try, with good, warm meals, with long walks in the sun that let this cold rock fall into oblivion, with the happy laughter of kids.

Dumbledore hated that Remus rounded up all his friends to get Harry, when Sirius couldn't. He hated that they found a way to include the blood wards by letting his awful family stay on the property. But he stopped fighting. But it was Harry, little Harry, finding an old photo of... before, that finally made Remus think.

Harry deserved more than just a photo, and so did he. What Sirius deserved... all the world of happiness – and he would give it to him or die trying.

Rain • word count: 487

@wolfstarmicrofic

Everyone knew you didn’t touch Remus Lupin. It wasn’t an unofficial Hogwarts rule, obviously, but it might as well have been official.

Nobody knew exactly when it had started. First year, probably. By sixth year, everyone simply knew: you don’t touch RJ Lupin.

So when it happened one rainy afternoon, nobody quite knew what to do with themselves. Remus was asleep in the common room, curled up comfortably in the window seat, his head resting against none other than Sirius Black’s shoulder, rain streaking down the glass beside them.

The entire room stared, some slack-jawed, others just straight-up baffled. No, baffled didn’t even begin to cover the expressions on their faces.

“Is anyone else seeing this?” someone whispered.

“Seeing what?”

“Remus.”

“And?”

“Black is touching him.”

Then Remus shifted in his sleep, nuzzling comfortably into the crook of Sirius’ neck. A collective realization seemed to dawn across the room.

“Oh.”

It was almost eerie how unanimously they said it.

And somehow, that was only the beginning. After that, it became strangely normal. Sirius fixing Remus’ crooked tie before class. Brushing his hair aside when it falls onto his eyes. Resting a hand on the back of Remus’ neck as they walked through the corridors. Stealing Remus’ scarf and then wrapping it around him properly when he noticed Remus shivering.

And most noticeable was, Sirius Black, the notorious flirt and the serial heartbreaker, apparently forgot other girls existed. He was always looking at Remus. Always smiling at him with this completely ridiculous, hopelessly whipped expression. If the word ‘downbad’ existed then it would be perfectly described as such.

“Black,” James, his best friend had finally said one morning, “you know people can see you staring, right?”

Didn’t seem to bother Sirius at all. “So?” he said and continued staring, Didn’t even blink, didn’t look away.

“You are completely whipped, mate,” James teased. And that, of course, only encouraged everyone else to start too. Soon everyone was teasing them.

“So, Lupin,” someone teased, “you and Black?”

“So only Sirius can touch you huh?” another added.

“Finally admitted it, have you?”

It was endless. The teasing and the catcalling they got every time they held hands.

“Merlin, they're actually disgusting.”

“Lupin, blink twice if you need rescuing.”

And the best part was Remus' reaction to all of it. His ears went bright red almost instantly. He would look determinedly down at his book, despite having stopped turning the pages several minutes ago. When someone whistled at them, he cleared his throat and pulled his sleeve over his hand.

“Look at him!” James would taunt. “He's gone scarlet!”

“Shut up,” Remus would mutter sometimes, but there was absolutely no heat behind it.

And Sirius simply grinned.

Neither of them ever denied it. Their dating rumors, that is.  And after a while, nobody asked anymore.

It was simply understood. Nobody touched Moony. Ever.

Well… Except Sirius.

Sirius could touch him all he wanted.

Sauna

@wolfstarmicrofic - 397 words

Remus blushes at the very thought of it, but his boss has left no doubts. The first meeting will be in the sauna, and everyone will be naked. It seems to be some kind of trust ritual in the strange circles they try to infiltrate. Apparently the mob no longer relies on too many weapons, when too little suffice.

Still, it makes Remus self-conscious in more than one way. Of course most men aren't comfortable with other men watching them, but for him it's more than that. The scars on his body are the very reason he is doing it. This... family made his car crash, killed his parents, marked him for life. Their hitman wasn't even after them, they were just collateral damage. But Remus knew they had to be stopped.

Still, what if someone asks? Can he keep it together? Or will the hatred just break out of him?

There is no time to reconsider, as they arrive in the changing room and leave it nakedly. On the other side of the door the most beautiful man Remus has ever seen awaits, bowing his head slightly in greeting. “My father awaits you.” He is naked too, leaving nothing to imagination – or everything, but wherever Remus' eyes lie, he can't see violence, but something far worse.

The guy... notices, and blushes, hell, shouldn't he be used to this? “I know, I know. I make a bad first impression. My father's bodyguards are probably more what you expected.” How can he be... insecure? He is everyone's dream, makes straight men question their sexuality, and.... and...

Just then Remus notices it, out of the corner of his eye. The guy eyes him back... and looks away, when he is caught. Does he... will he...?

Before Remus can make a decision on it, they enter the hot, steamy room that takes one's breath away, where they indeed find what their companion implied: huge men, surrounding the local boss, a man in his fifties with the coldest eyes Remus has ever seen. There is no telling why he leaves him so cold, when he looks exactly like his son, maybe even better. Yet Remus can't help it. This son, maybe he is innocent. Maybe they can save him. Maybe... it's moot, of course. Shacklebolt would scold him. Better not tell him that the thoughts don't ever leave Remus' mind.

Prompt 10 - Bike

@wolfstarmicrofic August 10, word count 349

Previous part First part

CW - Little bit NSFW

It was like riding a bike, Sirius thought as he latched onto Remus’s neck, kissing, licking and sucking the tender skin. It had been a while since he’d had the time/ felt the impulse to be with anyone. He was going slow; he had a feeling that Remus was more inexperienced than he’d mentioned yet, and he was in no way going to rush him into anything.

“Shit, Sirius!” Remus gasped as Sirius sucked at his pressure point and gently rolled his nipple between his fingers until the little bud pebbled.

He let go of Remus’s neck and replaced his fingers with his mouth, sucking and grazing his teeth over the sensitive bud while he rolled the other. Remus bucked off the bed, whining but not stopping Sirius either, so he continued.

He dropped Remus’s left nipple and kissed his way over to the other, sucking it into his mouth and lapping at it with his tongue while Remus squirmed beneath him. He could feel Remus’s erection against his stomach, twitching as Sirius continued to play with him.

“S-S-Sirius,” Remus whimpered through gritted teeth. He was reaching his limits, so Sirius pulled back and moved his lips further down.

He nuzzled his face in the soft, downy hair on Remus’s belly. A belly that had the startings of some hard abdominal muscles. Sirius bit down on one. He couldn’t wait to get Remus back in the gym; they were going to work on these until they were works of art. He continued his journey down, kissing the inside of Remus’s milky-white thighs, almost as pale as his own. He’d have to get him in shorts and relax out in his garden. A bit of vitamin D would do him some good.

Sirius cupped Remus through his underwear and looked up at him through his eyelashes as he sucked little bruises into his delicate thigh skin.

“More?” he asked in a sultry voice.

“Yes,” Remus croaked, his eyes dark with desire.

“Good,” Sirius purred and dragged his underwear down, leaving him spread out and naked, ready for him to devour.

Towel

@wolfstarmicrofic - 172 words

“If numbers are your thing, you can throw the towel right away.” Coach Lupin looked worried. He was new, the main coach's hand, and far more careful than old Dumbles. “McNair hasn't lost a fight yet, and all knockouts.”

As if. Sirius knows that at least two of McNair's past opponents won't ever fight again, and at least one of them was lucky to survive at all. He still wants this fight. Frank was a friend, and McNair broke his back, the bastard.

“Seriously, though.” Coach Lupin looks worried. “You don't have to. Dumbles may be miffed, our promoter, you know, but...” He looks Sirius up and down in a way that could be just professional, but Sirius hopes it isn't. Unprofessional, yes, but still... look at that guy.

“I want to, and I will. I'll send him to the boards. I'll do what no one else could.”

“How?”

Sirius grins his best smile, flirting, even when he knows Lupin can't answer in kind. “To make you proud.”

Bike, Swim, Sandals - @wolfstarmicrofic - 441

Sirius knew he was dangerously close to falling out of his school’s good graces after his latest stunt with James and Peter. Okay… who was he kidding? Shooting confetti cannons at the ancient Professor Binns was a little cruel, even for him. But hey, it made for a good TikTok reel.

He thought his Headmaster was ready to throttle him right then and there, but when he offered community service for the three rather than suspension, he was lucky. Even if the place where they were assigned was dreadfully boring, had a strict no-phone policy, and kept the three of them apart.

“Erm Sirius, I need a form to register for the Paratriathlon.” A gentle voice startled him out of his thoughts, and once he looked up, he finally saw who it belonged to.

Blimey, he was a total nerd. Though oddly enough, he found that attractive. There was something about the boy’s curly brown hair, oversized brown jumper, and shy smile that he couldn’t look away from.

“Right, sorry, sir.” Sirius pushed the form forward and handed the other boy a pen.

“Thank you. And I had a question.” He cleared his throat. “Do we have to bring our own bikes, or will they be provided for us?”

Sirius glanced over at a paper they’d left him, with answers to common questions, and nodded. “Yes, you’ll have to bring your own bike.”

“Oh.” The boy’s face fell, and he set the pen back down. “Never mind then.”

He turned to leave, and though Sirius didn’t know what came over him, he grabbed his arm. “Wait, you can borrow my bike. Unless…”

How could he ask this bloke if he was disabled in a way that’d require some sort of specially modified bike, without making it weird?

“Oh, no, I don’t need any special modifications.” The other boy then added, “But are you sure? That’d be very generous of you.”

“Of course, I barely use the thing.” Sirius shrugged. “And I can bring it here tomorrow, if you’d like.”

“Thank you and yes, that works perfectly.” The boy excitedly shook Sirius’s hand, which made him smile.

“Hey mate, our shift's about up. You still want to swim over at my house, right?” James approached the pair and wrapped an arm around Sirius.

“Yes, of course. I even packed my favorite sandals.” He turned back to the boy, “I’ll see you tomorrow-”
“Remus.” Remus finally introduced himself, “And yes, tomorrow. Bye then.”

Alright, at least his boring day had finally gotten interesting. Though he knew it was only a few seconds before James teased him mercilessly. Still, it would be worth it.

Dew, Sizzle, Fun - @wolfstarmicrofic - 291 Words

“Remus, I swear to Merlin, stop drooling over the burgers. It’s not going to make them cook any faster.” James teased Remus, who hovered over the grill, listening to the sizzle of the patty.

Remus shrugged, “What can I say; I’m a growing boy.”

“Well,” James rubbed the dew of sweat from his brow, “I’ll need you off my back if you want these burgers to come any sooner.”

He pouted, but relented, leaving James to the grill and heading where Sirius sat with baby Harry. Remus waved to Lily and Peter, who were preparing the side dishes, before he reached Sirius and Harry. They both sat on one of Lily’s homemade quilts, and Harry was squealing with laughter.

“Where’s the baby?” Sirius cooed as he played peek-a-boo. “There he is!”

He tickled Harry’s sides, and he squealed with laughter. Remus kissed Harry’s forehead before he sat next to Sirius. “It looks like you two are having fun.”

Sirius nodded. “Prongslet here is a riot. And his laugh is addictive. God, I love babies.”

“Really?” Remus pretended to look around. “Who is this man and what has he done with my Husband?”

Sirius shook his head. “I know, I know. I used to think babies were disgusting. But now, I think I want one.”

Remus nearly doubled over at that. “Really?”

“Yes, really. Do you still have the paperwork for that one adoption agency?”

“It’s still in the same desk drawer. Oh Sirius, you have no idea how much this means to me.” He wrapped his arms around him.

Sirius hugged him back. “I think you’ll make a wonderful father, Love.”

“And you will too, Dear. I’m sure of it.” Remus shed a few tears and gave him a quick kiss.

Perhaps this was their best barbecue yet.
