A man who can't hold onto his beliefs is never more than pathetic, dead or alive
About
悪即斬, Swift Death to Evil. The code of the Shinsengumi and way of life Saitou Hajime still holds resolute in the 12th year of the Meiji era of Japan, 1879. A sword-wielding hitokiri of few words, living for the sole purpose of bringing to Justice the evil that would corrupt Japan, in remembrance of the fallen Mibu Wolves.
And now is suddenly flung into the year 2010, in a city that resembles New York, where swords have been thrown away in preference of guns and other, more modern weaponry. Nearly no one speaks Japanese, and Saitou is confronted with advanced machinery such as motor vehicles, airplanes, and new-and-improved biological and nuclear warfare.
However Corruption and Evil still lurk about in the same manner 130 years in the future, and for a Shinsengumi wolf, this is really nothing new.
