Hi, Joy! PLEASE, I love what a truly pathetic, attention-starved chud Red is about Purple. I do think Purple is one of the few people who has ever given Red that much genuine positive regard (shoutout to the hc that Red was an accidental pregnancy and their parents' resentment was very heavily felt throughout their childhood).

So for that one person to see you as maybe worth being alive as you are, to act distant and indifferent now? Absolutely ruins Red. I do wanna say, tho, that Red has absolutely NO fucking clue what to do when they do get the attention they crave? When Purple is tired and malleable and honest. Red doesn't know how to handle that. I still feel fucked up over Red not knowing how to comfort Purple when they cry IN CANON, to the point that GREEN had to comfort them, even when Red was making that distressed, worried face. They're such a loser. I need Purple hugging them so bad, they'd legit freeze up.

Red just DOES NOT know how to get the love and attention they need, they're either aggrandizing or antagonistic, and Purple usually responds in kind, but when Purple's honest first, Red breaks so, so fast.

I feel a lot about them, Anon. Idk which is better, Red being smug and knowing they're sexy and good at what they do, or Red being new to modeling and insecure.
