My grandmother just had incision-less brain surgery (using an MRI to guide ultrasound rays), and in 90 minutes they mostly cured the tremor that's been stopping her from writing, playing music, or doing any of her other hobbies for the past 20 years (and has often made eating and drinking a royal pain).
I know so much is hard and scary right now. But we also live in a time of some astonishing, miraculous things.
The way people demonize seagulls is actually unreal. Almost all of their natural habitat has been destroyed (almost all coastal areas have been developed, destroying natural sand dune ecosystems) and they're doing their best to adapt. They're literally just trying to survive. You're in their home. The vitriol some people have for these gorgeous sea birds just because they're not shy about snatching food if you're not cautious is insane
Seagulls live in post-apocalyptic scarcity, where all their natural habitats and food sources have been decimated by humans. The fact that they get all Beyond Thunderdome when we eat food at them is very much our fault.
