Just cleaned up my DW account a bit and got rid of old accounts that I'd hadn't seen or responded to in quite some time.

Dream Journal -

I dreamed last night - and it was such a vivid dream I was going to record it on my phone - but I couldn't bring myself to reach over for it and hit the silly record button.

and now it's gone.

How frustrating. Because it was one of those dreams that felt full of symbols.

Dreamfail.

Oh well - will have to be more disciplined next time.

This morning I did Gentle Yoga - compliments of my cable company's "On Demand" service. For a first time, I did a really not half bad job of it.

There are some positions I had to modify based on weight and back problems - but it was a good session.

Here's to new good things. :)

Good morning!

Now that I have some leisure time again - I figure it will be good to get back into the habit of journalling. :)

Started off this morning with coffee and a little bit of Grimm - catching up on Hulu. Enjoying the peace and quiet of the morning. After this, my plan is to try some light yoga, some cleaning and grocery shopping.

It looks like today is going to be a beautiful day.

So we have this lovely little black cat. Her name is Neko. Neko, in Japanese, means: Small Cat. Sean decided she was going to be a very self-referential kitten.


This is Neko in relation to a vase of flowers. She's 2+ years old.

Neko has never been what one might call shy. She's a brash, bold, adventurous kitteh that gets into EVERYTHING. The first day she got here she was a teeny tiny ball of fluff that walked up to our Alpha Lady, Boo, and hissed at her.

So Neko the Ninja tends to get herself into all sorts of trouble. And all sorts of closed off spaces. She IS a ninja, after all.

For the longest time, we've had a Quiet Room that's been closed to keep the kittens out and, well, other folks, too. One of the reasons it's been closed is because there's a vent cover in there that's not truly affixed to the wall. Now that we've opened it up, the small black thing herself has been the first of the cats to get the vent cover opened. Color me shocked. So, me being resourceful, I put books in front of it to keep it snug up against the wall.

Foolish Mortal. I am no Match for Neko the Ninja. She had the books pushed away and the cover completely opened this evening. And when I called for her - what do I hear but the sound of aluminum venting being trod upon by 4 tiny furry feet. And out from the vents she comes. >.<

Needless to say, the Quiet Room is back to being closed until we can get the vent covers screwed into the wall.

Adventurous Ninja Kitties. They're trouble on 4 paws.

You know... this showed up on the Failbook Blog today.

Personally? I think this is a bit of brilliant advertising!



You GO Milwaukee Public Library!!

Ahhhh what an excellent way to start a vacation. Saw bugfish out the door this morning, fed the kitties, and made Holiday Spiced Cookie Coffee. Nothing like starting out the day with a lovely cup of coffee. :D

Along with my coffee I'm watching Prime Suspect on Hulu. Nothing like a little murder and mayhem to get the blood going. …and weird! For those in the know, Crowley from Supernatural just showed up on Prime Suspect. Heh. He's such a good slime ball. :)

Plans are, today, to have a leisurely morning, hit up Target for the last minute gifties, and then return to home for a leisurely afternoon!

I have to admit... I miss being able to get up in the morning and have a quiet start to my day without all of the hustle and bustle. This is good.

A friend of mine has a second interview for a potential job!

This calls for Toe Beans! Can I get a Woot Woot?!
