Raah why is it not spring?

It's not spring yet. Why? Raar. Does anyone else find it teasing that just when you think you're going to be alright and get out of the funk, it turns right back into gloomy-and-greyville? Sometimes my blahs accompany me during summer, too but I don't know if I have summer SAD or if that's just my depression. Stupid winter. So, to combat this, I'm tinkering with light therapy.

Does anyone have any favorite or least favorite light therapy products? Can you give me the name of the company to google or what features they had that you liked? I'm interested in light boxes and visors, but if there's another product that I don't know about, please tell me or comment on my latest research post in my LJ.

(no subject)

Hi guys. I'm glad there's a community on this that's still active. Has anyone bought a dawn simulator alarm clock before? I got mine from a company called BioBrite (web site linked). The clock looks like this but has a radio in it, too:

I just got it and it's only been three days, but I feel better about waking up compared with what it was like. I think its sundown feature has helped me to fall asleep, too. I think I should have bought the more-expensive one. Any past experiences? I don't know what to expect.

Friday Five

I'm a wreck today, so I've gotta do something. Freakin' PMS.

  1. Where is the nearest playground slide?
  2. What’s something you recently let slide?
  3. Who recently let slide something you did?
  4. Where is the nearest water slide?
  5. When did you last slide down a pole, a rope, or an embankment?

Hello Everyone!

I think everyone here already knows me but I'll give a brief intro just in case. I'm honored to take over this community from my sister taylorrain who isn't feeling well at this time and has decided to take a break from LJ for awhile. Please keep her in your thoughts and send plenty of good mojo her way. =)

I'd really like to see this community do well so I'm asking for your help. I'm curious about what you'd like to get out of this community. Maybe some weekly events? Let me know what you think.

In the meantime, I'm working on updating the layout, icons and profile. =)

ETA: My dumbass originally posted this in my personal journal. D'oh!
